“Every time I have ate at Firehouse Subs in Callaway, the food and service have been excellent. Today, I had to make my order to go because because I live an hour and half away and my husband was not feeling well enough to dine in. You see, he has been battling cancer and has been having daily treatments for 3 months. So he has not had an appetite for a while. But today he wanted a Firehouse Sub but felt like he couldn’t eat it until we get home. So I asked if they could pack everything separately. They were so accommodating that they kept checking with me during the preparation, which way would be best for me. I did not tell them why. I did not tell them what a hard few months it has been. What a blessing to deal with pleasant people. Thank you for making this day just a little easier.“
