Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

My first time coming to the seafood boil I haven’t tried to boil yet, but I have tried the oysters the clam chowder and the Cajun fries and they were so amazing and shout out to the hostess. I don’t know how to spell her name, but she was amazing sweet And so kind. Definitely coming back.

First time customers and we loved it. The food was excellent and so was the service.

The seafood boil and shrimp po-boy’s are absolutely amazing every time!

If I could give it zero I would. We went in the morning and you can taste that they warmed up old seafood I could taste a slight ammonia taste. there was way too much salt in the food to hide the fact it’s old. It was so salty it hurt to eat. 0/10 waste of money.

My daughter and I were excited to try a new seafood boil spot because we heard good things in the past about Hook. However, we were highly disappointed with our dinner.
We ordered a crab legs and shrimp boil with mussels in the original hook sauce. To our dismay the flavor was no bueno. With the crab legs and mussels, A weird after taste was left in our mouths. Didn’t seem too fresh. Only thing we really enjoyed were the hush puppies.
Only thing going was the hostess when we ordered. She was very sweet and thorough with the order taking. Always love to try new spots, but we won’t be back. Too pricey to be Money wasted.

I visited the restaurant during lunchtime and it got pretty busy, the server was nice, the price was reasonable, overall I gave it a 3 star, some of the customers were talking loudly at their table.

First time visiting this location, literally had one server who never said his name and ask for thing that we didn’t get. The food was mediocre at best . First and last time

Went here for the first time last night and it was pretty underwhelming. After paying and the waitress bagging the leftovers, I spotted a little roach on the to go bag. After brining it to her attention, she kills it on the table and takes the bag to throw away sending the manager over. The manager explained it happens every once in a while and they had extermination in there that morning and the day before. Couldn’t refund it so he tried to give a discount for a future visit. Once I expressed I wouldn’t be back he offered to remake the food which I let him do because at the end of the day I paid almost $70 for it. Ultimately didn’t eat it because the experience made my stomach turn. Turned me off from seafood and I won’t be back

Chill place. When we went it was completely empty. But I preferred it that way. Food was amazing and the service was too.
