I’m not sure if they switched chefs but it no longer taste good to me anymore. I’ve been coming here for years but it taste different every time but good service. The chicken en sauce is what taste different than before.

Literally just walked in on random and the people were really slow and not welcoming at all!! So I walked out and it was a uber guy that was waiting for 20 mins for just a soda and soup and the lady was very snobby. Not a good look at all. On top of having to wait for something so simple. Definitely should work on their people skills . Them prices are high as hell as well. Get it together

It's okay. Kasa Chanpet is a nice place. I don't go that often. But every time when I go, my order always take time. Besides that. Good atmosphere 👌

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. We sit down and order two hold fried snapper it come in 15 minutes and look good but the food was spoiled so we sent it back the server claimed it wasn’t any more fish in the back so they threw the whole batch away. A manager never came to the table to apologize for the inconvenience or to accommodate us with any type of service I would never go back.

I attended my goddaughter’s dedication dinner here, and while the food itself was good, the overall experience was terrible.

From the moment we walked in, things started off poorly. Our party was seated off in a corner near the VIP section and assigned two waitresses. One of them (the Spanish waitress) had an attitude from the start. While the Haitian waitress was politely explaining that the restaurant only allows two checks per table, the Spanish waitress interrupted and said, “If they have an issue, I can go home. I’m not dealing with this.”

To make matters worse, the live musician was set up so close to our table that we could hardly hear each other talk throughout dinner. When I tried to address this and other concerns, the Spanish waitress told me that since I wasn’t the host of the event, she didn’t have to listen to me — which was misinformation, because I was in fact the host and the one paying the bill.

We waited nearly two hours for our food. The mother of my goddaughter didn’t receive her meal until everyone else had already finished eating and we were cutting the cake. I repeatedly asked the waitress to box up her food since we were wrapping up, but when she came out with the plate, she ignored me, rolled her eyes, and walked straight to the table. I had to raise my voice because we had already waited 2½ hours and still had a 45-minute drive home. Instead of apologizing, she argued and insisted on putting the plate down anyway.

To make things even worse, several people in our party never received their to-go orders. One person waited over an hour for her takeout before giving up and canceling it.

Again, the food was good — but the customer service, communication, and overall experience were completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant for large parties or special occasions.

I'm a doordasher who has been waiting over 30 minutes for an order. I asked for water and the young ladies at the register as well as the bartender denied me.

To all reading the reviews. Please believe all the 1 start reviews under party. Everything is true . We experience the same during our party.

Owner/manager/restaurant please do not respond to justify the horrible experience we had. Cause i sure could have said much, much more.

If i could give a ZERO star i would. My family had a dinner party for my aunt. From beginning of planning to the day of event restaurant was unorganized, owner/manager unresponsive, but as we arrive i see why. Money hungry is a understatement. Most ppl would wonder why did we proceed with this location. 1. Other haitian restaurant was booked. 2. We wanted haitian food.
Restaurant had 6 different party going on at the same time. Large parties at that. My decorator arrive and had to wait 2.30 hrs before she could enter to set up, ( mind you they had a repass and told her to set up during the repass. Out of respect my decorator decline ,dj and photographer arrive only to be told could not enter either. This was only the beginning. Our party was buffet style. Event started food serve was good, but we didn't receive everything we paid for ( example we ordered a large pan of mac, but small pan was what was served. Same happen with other food). After food was served they did not give us the remainder left they took it back ( mind you we paid for it, cause we paid per pan). Server refuse to give us to go plates ( her exact words was we have no more to go containers, we already gave you 5 . Its a restaurant ughhhhh). Not to mention our event was for 4hrs once they cleared the food table they also took the beverages. So which means myself and our guest had no beverages but water ( i guess we should have saved drinks at the table before they took them , not knowing that was going to happen) cause of course that was not communicate. After the event most of my guest stated they would NEVER have anything here do to the treatment the received from staff. Being ignored when asked for anything. I could seriously go one minute by minute of all that went wrong, but I may run of of characters. Overall if your ordering to go maybe the experience is not bad, because the food was good. As far as events STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not mention as we left several people was standing outside, because they had to wait for space to clear for there event ( which was running behind as well cause this restaurant overbooked). Haitian really need to do better when it comes to customer service. This should not be the standard, cause this happen way to often.

While the food maybe be delicious, the service is definitely trash. Its like they have robots working in there without feelings. They are simply there for a paycheck and they can really careless about the issues you encounter. They opened up a TO-GO next door and it seems like everything got worse. You order 30 minutes in advance and still have to wait 30-45 minutes to get your food. You'd think they took so long and they wouldn't forget any items. You drive back home, which is 20 minutes away, only to realize that they forgot the focal point of the dish, which is the white rice and beans. Called the restaurant to complain they gave me another to call the manager and I texted them over two hours ago to no avail. Bad business!!!! Terrible and emotionless staff!
