$70 for 2 carne asada meals, a quesillo, and large cacao. Maduros were at least a day old, there was a hair in our quesillo, and the carne asada tasted very "funky". Do yourself a favor and go to Pinolandia.

I ate here a couple days ago I ordered 2 carne asadas and a cacao, I was just trying this place cause all I heard were good reviews I usually go to Fritanga Fritagon Nica which is always 5 stars in my book, anyways la hormigas food is overrated and way to expensive for what it is. Was truly disappointed I would never eat here again.

Good service and food but it’s over priced based on the quality of food. Menus has no price on the items.

Caro / Expensive .. It's Nica food not French .. A good steak will set you back close to $30, and most of their prices are way over the moon.

Stopped in here with a co-worker. We were looking for some dinner reasonably nearby and picked it off of yelp. Glad we stopped in! Its not a place either of us would have usually tried and would have likely passed right on by. I had the churrasco and really enjoyed it. The grilled corn tortilla was good and so were the rice and beans. The salad left a bit to be desired. Iceburg lettuce with a couple of sliced tomatoes doesn't do much for me. Neither does canned ice tea, but I can live with that. I would like to come back and try something different, maybe for lunch sometime.
