Visited the place last week at dinner time, few things to say: 1. Not sure if it was the location of the table but it was extremely hot, very uncomfortable. 2. Food and company was great so we stayed. 3. Today when I passed my expense report for approval a discrepancy was brought up to my attention, which by the way it was a bit to late because I paid the amount. (See the receipt… for a 38 dollars check the recommended tip amounts was not correct. It says 18% -13.xx it should...
It was my first time there. I went to a retirement party for my godmother Aunt. I actually ate every single thing on my plate. It was good. The salad is great. The cheesecake is good. It's a very nice place... I'm not from Miami so I bought two margaritas and two Apple martinis... Apple and it came up to $68 so that was kind of expensive. But the server is good and the restaurant is nice so I didn't mind paying
I can come to Village Tavern for the Spinach Tortilla Dip alone!! The dip itself is delicious and has a good kick to it with the Jalapeño. The tortilla chips are also lightly salted and crispy. I still haven’t found an entree I love - crab cakes were OK but loved the French fries and I wasn’t a fan of the steak tacos I had on a previous occasion. My boyfriend did enjoy his chicken sandwich. Service is always on par and we never really wait for a table which is a plus.
