Stopped by while in town on vacation to support the Legion and it’s veterans. The building and facility had a fun atmosphere due to it being karaoke night. Drinks prices are great!An important thing not posted on the website (from what I saw) is that it is a smoking facility. We stayed 30 minutes and decided to leave because of the cigarette smoke and not one person greeted our group or even spoke to us.

Nice place with a freindly bartender. There is, however no good selection of beers. So, for the same reason I and others have stopped going there before is the same reason we've stopped going again.

So I can recommend AL240 but you need to be a member or be a guest of a member...if you are active duty, did any military service or retired then AL240 would be your 'Cheers' where everyone knows your name, the atmosphere is never a dull moment.

I stopped by for a drink. A nice fellow came over to welcome me and asked where I was from. It turned that he, John, was the Commander. He welcomed me and made me feel at home. The customers at the bar were equally friendly. I'll be stopping by again before I leave town.

Stopped in for a Friday nite steak,it was good but tough took it home ,put in the micro wave for 2 min. On high and it came out perfect .It just wasn't cooked long enough.

Lovely friendly place! I noticed a review that said you have to be a member to play Bingo. This is true and not true. You do not need to be a member to play Bingo on Wednesday but you do need to be one if you want to play Saturdays for lounge Bingo.I had fun and even got a Bingo!!? They have a kitchen with lots of choices and the food looks amazing!! Definitely be returning ?

Am Legion is supposedly all about helping VETS and the Community. Promoting or allowing smoking does neither. My first and last time in yesterday as I just relocated and was going to transfer membership but not now.
