5 stars for service, 5 stars for the courtyard seating, 1 star for food. The seafood gumbo had no visible shrimp or meat. I think it was in there, but chopped up really well. It was edible, but not very good.Beignets were complimentary because they accidentally seated us next to a smelly pile of barf. The beignets were overcooked and slightly hard. I can't complain because they were free, but I wouldn't order them in the future. I ordered a black coffee which was surprisingly delicious - the best part of the meal.I might go back to sit the in the peaceful courtyard and adjust my expectations for the food. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

The servers were great and so were the bartenders. We had appetizers, they too were good

Service was slow. Food was good. It was a large crowd, but waitress forgot about us. Ate there before going to Rosie O'Grady's for dueling pianos. I would recommend this place if there was a party of four and not 10.

We went here for lunch. No wait. I got the Alabama White BBQ grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and my husband got grilled chicken tenders with tater tots! My chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries were VERY good. The sweet potato fries were the best I have ever had. Service was good.

We used Apple Annie's for the venue for our small wedding in October. I cannot say kind enough words to express how phenomenal the staff was. They were so accommodating in their setup and helpful in decorating small things and setting our tables. We retained Ashley as our day-of-coordinator and she was an absolute ANGEL. She made sure we stayed on track without being too pushy. She made sure we had the best time and myself and my husband were comfortable and had everything we needed. They made certain that my husband and I had a vegan meal, which was our biggest fear... not eating dinner at our own wedding. The catering got rave reviews, the bartenders were quick and happy to serve signature cocktails that we requested, and the staff seemed so happy to be there to serve our families. They truly made us feel special on the happiest day of our lives. I'd recommend this as a venue for any wedding or large party.

My husband had eaten at Apple Annies in 2019 so we decided he and I would have lunch after a Saturday stroll thru the Palafox Market.Arriving, we were immediately greeted by the host and offered a table of our choice. He asked for our drink order and I requested Strawberry lemonade to which he answered oh, that's a sour we don't have that.....what did that even mean.My husband then ordered the grilled shrimp basket, I ordered the Apple Annie burger with coleslaw. Our meals arrived in a timely fashion however my husband's fries were EXTREMELY SALTY, more than normal. My burger was EXTREMELY SALTY ALSO. Other than that, the meal was fine. Perhaps they need to add lemonade to their fare along with sparing the salt shaker.

We had the most amazing experience with Ashley at Apple Annie’s for our wedding reception. She was so responsive throughout and went out of her way to accommodate our requests. We were originally going to get married in May 2020 but had to change the date twice due to COVID and she was very flexible as our plans changed twice. The dining area of Apple Annie’s is also very quaint yet rustic opening into a beautiful fountain in the courtyard which just makes special occasions like a wedding so memorable. Kudos to Ashley and her team for such a fabulous experience on our wedding day!

For these snowbirds, the outdoor seating was fantastic! Prices were very reasonable. The food was delicious, although the cheese bites were a bit greasy and the cheese had melted out of the batter. The blackened chicken was good and they offer a cauliflower crust pizza, made to order. The chicken strips had a type of tempura or beer batter that is typically not found on chicken strips, but it was very good. There is a tater tot option instead of fries. They forgot the Cole slaw which were were excited to try, but we also forgot it was missing, so I can’t say how that tasted. Our grown children really enjoyed the grilled chicken and the pimento cheese burger.

I dined at your establishment this evening and can honestly say that I have never experienced such an incredible lack of service at an eating establishment in my entire life!!! I would like to document the experience. 1)We arrived with a rather large party of approximately 35 people at approximately 6pm to am empty restaurant before a dinner shift. It took over 45 min to get a drink order and another 45 to just get a food order and another 45 min to get out bills... i am writing this at 9:15 pm ...This is on a night where your establishment had bingo and a band and several other things going on in the establishment and I say that to say there SHOULD have been adequate staff to accommodate 35 people. Early on after the drink order I asked the bar tender to speak with the manager and inquire why our table had not received our drinks and no one had come back to take our food order to which another African American male employee (i am african american) chimed in to my conversation with the bar tender stating "they didn't know yall were coming"... to which I replied sir no one was speaking to you... and that still does not explain why our drink orders were not filled nor our food orders taken... he became combative and restated they didn't know yall was coming!!! And I had to reiterate that it was irrelevant if they knew we were coming or not if one table of 10 from the party of 35 got here AFTER we got there and they already had drinks and food and we had non and we were there when the restaurant was empty ... needless to say the manager was NEVER sent to our table.... Another person from our table went to the bar to ask to speak with the manager on 3 separate occasions and he did not come... Finally a grey haired gentleman came out to talk with us who NEVER introduced himself as the manager and didn't give us an opportunity to Express our dissatisfaction.... Now I want you to understand that after we ate we had AMPLE time to just walk out because we could not find a server to bring our bill... nor the manager, it took 45 min to bring a bill, oh and I didn't mention we were required to order from an abbreviated Mardi gras menu AFTER we were given a regular one to order from?? but despite the horrible service, combativeness of the employees and mediocre food at best I STILL PAID MY BILL... i was never comped for anything, i wasn't even asked if i wanted an additional drink or how the food was NOTHING no one checked to see if we were ok or needed anything....i do not usually complain but this was unacceptable for a casual dining establishment... I Do Not Work there and as as a patron I should not have to chase down my bill. ..now there were several issues here... AN inadequate number of staff and servers THERE WERE PLENTY THERE THEY JUST WERE NOT HELPING US...That's a management issue, poorly trained staff that is a staff and a management issue because she was "New" and if she couldn't handle multiple tables then she needed a back up.... lack of a manager recognizable and available on site again an upper level management issue... NOT that any remedy was offered but I do not want your coupons because I will not be back!!!
