Cactus Cantina Mexican Grill of Pensacola

I ate here for the very first time and let me just say it was the best burrito I have ever had in my life. The cactus grits on your burrito is a must. The staff was very friendly and prompt. I will be going back to eat here and I suggest you do as well. I went to the one on 12th ave in Pensacola . Just superb! Great food, clean restaurant, and wonderful staff .

Waiter sucked ball no sense of humor no customer service whatsoever the guy just sucked all over the board We ordered two rainbow margaritas and tell me why did they put salt all over the realm So that was his tip and when we tell him about it, he is so nonchalant about it and they were still full. He didn’t offer to remake them. All he offered was to go get an empty glass with sugar. Smh

I suggested this place to my family and friends last week, and we all got soo disappointed, we were a group of 7 people, ordered Fajitas and Burritos and we didnt like it, the good thing was our waitress services and the order coming quickly but they need to improve cooking.

Came in with a party of 22 during the Sunday morning church lunch rush after our grandchilds baby dedication. The manager was very accommodating and helpful in getting tables together for us with a full house of patrons! Our wait was under 25 minutes and our waitress did a phenomenal job taking all of our orders and getting us all the correct food. There were no send backs and the food was delicious! Very impressed and thankful!

Horrible service, the menu is lacking the most common dishes and god forbid you want to substitute something.. they nickel and dime you to death. The waitress was unfriendly and seemed bothered that we were in her section. Zero stars for this place. I will not return, I decided not to eat at all and got the kids food to go. Everyone said this chain was crap but I gave it a shot. That was a mistake.

Let’s establish first that I am first generation Mexican, so I am a Mexican food snob. This restaurant is very Americanized Mexican food. Birria tacos are more like pulled beef tacos not authentic messy birria. Enchiladas red sauce was likely out of a can. I won’t return, it reminded me of a Chili’s restaurant. We were hungry, it filled the hole. Just meh.

Let me start off by saying the food was great. The service was good. However, I have a huge problem with a restaurant charging me 5 dollars just to use my debit card. I have never been to a restaurant and had my receipt have two prices. 60 dollars Cash or 65 debit. It does not cost that much to swipe a debit card. I will never have to make that choice again as I will never return to this restaurant again. Something shady going on here at the Cactus Cantina.

We dine at Cactus Cantina often and we love it there. The food is always really good and the service is excellent. We always get our food extremely quickly. We have never had a bad meal here.

Parking: Parking lot is behind restaurant, so from the street it appears to not have a lot of parking on the side, but the back has plenty of parking.

Ordered from Cactus Cantina on 12th on door dash. Nearly $20 per person for three people and we had to throw the food away because it was so greasy. I'm sure it would have been great if they'd drained the grease off. When I say greasy, I mean it was literally saturated. I won't be ordering from there again. I honestly hate leaving a bad review for anyone but this time I felt like I had to.

Love the place, our food was pretty good, good taste, and it was ready quick, I really recommend the place. Waiting for my next time visiting Pensacola so I can go back!

If you're looking for a taste of authentic Mexico gotta keep it moving. This is a very Americanized place. Food is mediocre although the guacamole was solid but the actual entrées lacked that Mexicana flavor. Comparable to Tapatios. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for your abuelas home cooking. Overall average
