East Hill Wine Bar Reviews
Came in at Lunchtime and the service was good and the food was very good as well. I had a chickpea salad with salmon which was done great. The ladies I were with had pizza and chicken salad, which they all enjoyed as well. We will be coming back again to try more things from the menu.
My friends and I visited East Hill Wine Bar for lunch yesterday with our babies, which meant we had several strollers with us (because we walked to the restaurant). From the moment we walked in, the hostess (who we believe was named Katie and who also ended up being our waitress) was incredibly kind, accommodating, and welcoming. She went out of her way to arrange tables in a location where our strollers wouldn’t be in the way of other guests, and she made us feel comfortable...read full review
This would usually and easily be a 5* review but y’all… they took the cheese board off the menu. This is not a drill. Raise a fuss because this is crazy pants. When I think Wine Bar, I think fabulous wine selections paired with an exquisite cheese board. Am I right?

East Hill Wine Bar is a cozy, modern bistro and a well-kept secret in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is calm and pleasing with a quiet hum, offering a sleek, relaxed yet refined vibe centered around its open kitchen. It is a great place for a local neighbourhood evening social or a relaxing yet elevated lunch experience.
The food is amazing, pleasant, and nicely presented. Standout dishes include the fantastic cheese pizza, the phenomenal charcuterie or cheese board, and the absolute perfection of the goat cheese Napoleon. The tuna and the steak are both cooked to absolute perfection, and the duck fat potatoes are a standout. The curated wine list is affordable, thoughtful, and perfectly paired with fresh dishes. The daily happy hour from 11 AM to 6 PM offers half-off glasses of wine, a fantastic way to sample the pricier pours.
The service is exceptional, excellent, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and spot-on without being overbearing. The staff are all warm, professional, and go the extra mile. The space itself is small, so it may not be ideal for a large group. Parking can be right nearby. It is a pure magic gem and highly recommended.
