The bun Bo hue was horrible! Bun Bo hue is my favorite Vietnamese soup, So I have eaten a lot of of it. The pork rib was tough and they gave me broth with the thin cuts of steak Already in the broth , So they were overcooked and rubbery. The broth definitely was not authentic (very much so Americanized) lt lacked flavor. Maybe some shrimp paste could have helped. They were very friendly which I appreciate however I came for the soup and it was an epic fail.

What a hidden gem! First time visiting this restaurant and we were amazed by the flavors and freshness of our dishes. We will be coming back again !

Over time, the quality of food at this establishment has declined. The service has also deteriorated, becoming increasingly pushy and demanding immediate orders. When customers encounter issues with their food and attempt to make changes, the servers respond with disdain and disregard. Consequently, this establishment has lost its status as our preferred dining destination.

I'm sorry to say this about one of my families favorite restaurant. We moved to Pensacola several years ago, while looking for good restaurants in the area, we found House Of Pho.
At the time the food excited us. We have had pho from several places that we live, but never anything like Minn's (sorry if I missed spelled your name),
Food. Having owned my own restaurant. I understand great food. This was the best I had in pho. I could not help, but tell people about it.
That was a little while ago.
Today I have found the food okay. Just as good as Saigon's.
The episodes I have experienced has been, poor service back in February, rude staff.
Another time I had my wife bring my favorite meal home, since I was just home from the hospital.
The meal was not very good. I refused to eat.
Our recent visit. The staff was not very helpful, our coffee had a grainy taste to it, our mango tea with jellies was mostly syrup and the jellies were something else. The food was not pleasant, the waffle egg rolls were over cooked and seemed to have more oily taste to them.
I feel that corners are being cut, but at what cost.
I would rather pay higher prices for excellent food and service, than higher prices for average food.
I'm sorry I loved House of Pho.
I love and respect both owners and chef.
Please forgive me.

This was the 2nd time that I’ve been here and both times were not a great experience. I probably will not be back. I ordered take out both times, with the first time being my first experience with ordering pho at all. The lady at the counter was a bit rude in explaining what the items were and helping in ordering. She tried to overcharge us on the order with things that we didn’t want and overcharged by about $15-20 until we asked for a breakdown in price. That was the first time.

Fast forward to yesterday when I went in to give it a second try, I was actually greeted by a young guy who was very welcoming and pleasant but he was pushed aside by the same woman who I encountered the first time and she was again VERY rude. I was trying to explain what I wanted and she insisted that what I was explaining wasn’t a menu item, when I had gotten it just month before. I was on the phone with my wife trying to get her order for her so I was a bit distracted but the lady was still VERY rude. EVERY time I said anything out of my mouth to order she would respond with “anything else, anything else?” Before I could even finish ordering as if I was taking too long to order or as if I was irritating her. EXTREMELY rude. She overcharged me AGAIN on simple things and because I was feeling rushed as well as a bit distracted I didn’t realize that she’d overcharged me as I’d asked for A PORKCHOP and she had charged me for a pork chop MEAL. I didn’t realize it until I’d gotten in the car and looked at the plate itself. I was wondering why the cost was so much but in the midst of the frustration as well as distraction I didn’t catch it at the moment.

I didn’t even want to dispute it because I felt that I would possibly just take it too far as I’d already gotten so upset so I left it as it was. However, I know now that I will not go back and if I do and see the same lady I will pay very close attention or just not deal with her at all as I know she is rude and will most definitely overcharge if you let her. NOT a good experience and I’d advise to keep on alert if the same woman is at the counter. We also did not get enough noodles for our pho considering we upgraded to the large sizes. The amount of noodles for it seemed extremely small for a large order and were tough to break up in the broth this time. I don’t know.. I may not be back. And if so I may just do a mobile order next time IF I go back.

House of Pho is absolutely fantastic! This is my first time came to this restaurant. I ordered a beef Pho. It was very delicious, flavorful, especially the meat ball was homemade, very delicious. Their pho broth was very fresh, tasty, rich and aromatic, with the perfect balance of spices. The portions are generous, and the ingredients taste fresh. I love it.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. The restaurant is not too big but it is clean, comfortable.

Highly recommend House of Pho to anyone craving authentic, delicious Vietnamese cuisine. I am sure I will come here again and order other food.

We started with the spring rolls, and they were really fresh and full of flavor. They got us excited for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, it kind of went downhill from there. It wasn’t awful, but it just didn’t live up to the hype. The pho broth lacked that deep, rich flavor, and the chicken was dry and stringy. The pork banh mi was just okay. The bread was decent, but the pork itself was fatty. Honestly, it was a mixed experience. Not terrible, just not somewhere I’m rushing to go back.

Perfect size portions! The spring rolls were packed with freshly chopped ingredients and the meat in the pho was tender and delicious. Service was punctual and kind too. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you, inside was airy, bright and clean.
