After a long cross country move, I went and dropped off the U-Haul and asked the lady working there about some good takeout since I'm not too familiar with the area yet. She suggested Louisiana Lunchbox--and as she did, one of their employees happened to be walking by after work. He was kind enough to list off all the great food they had--and if an employee that works there says it's good, you know it's gonna be good. :)I went in the afternoon between rush times, so the restaurant was empty except for me and the staff. Everyone inside was so friendly and my order was ready quickly. I got some of the best coconut shrimp I've ever had. It came with sides, so I ordered the fried okra and jambalaya. I got the bayou banging shrimp basket for my husband with dirty rice and potato salad, then ordered 5 of the beignet balls. Everything was great and we will definitely be going back!

Best poboys in town! They've got the right bread from New Orleans, and everything is fresh and seasoned well. They've got a bunch of other stuff too, but when you're craving a real deal poboy, you've got to go to Louisiana Lunchbox.

We thought the food was pretty good. I personally didn't care for the greens. I love greens in general but these weren't even ok. (In my book) The grits however was delicious. I tried my daughter's fries and didn't care for those either. She and I both agreed the shrimp and fish were amazing.

Good side salad, decent seafood gumbo and good bread pudding waffles. I'm from Louisiana, so I'm picky with my gumbo. The staff are very friendly, and the pricing is affordable.

Very good food. I love their fried whitefish (1 - 2) whole fillets and very flakey. The boudain balls weren't consistent from visit to visit. The cream sauce put on the fish and grits is to die for. I wished someone made a cream sauce soup with this cheese. Service is great. Staff is very friendly.

This was not my first visit. Me and my family really love this place. Good food and great staff, until yesterday. I ordered our usual meal online. Stuffed boudin balls with a cup of pepper jack cheese sauce on the side and of course chicken and sausage gumbo. ? When I received my food the cheese sauce was missing. When I made it back to the counter to inform them that I didn’t get my cheese sauce, I got the run around BIG TIME! They wanted to pull receipts and make a big deal out of the cheese sauce that I PURCHASED with my order! One lady rudely commented “It’s in the brown bag, I put it in there myself!” Well ma’am, first of all YOU DID NOT bag my food a nice gentleman did. Secondly, there was no cheese sauce in the bag. Had it been, I wouldn’t have gotten back in line to stand there and wait another 10 minutes just to tell you it wasn’t. Long story short a nice waitress went to the kitchen and got the sauces for me. Then she was told to find my receipt and make sure I paid for it. ??♀️ They went searching for my receipt and couldn’t seem to find it. So I pulled it up on my phone and showed them that I had indeed purchased TWO cups of their delicious pepper Jack cheese sauce!Look, I totally get it! People will get over on you, if you let them. BUT NOT EVERYONE IS LIKE THAT! This was my last time visiting. The food is delicious though!!!!! ??

The Cajun bang shrimp was good! I didn’t like their crawfish etouffee at all. It was dry and full of canned tomatoes. Not recognizable as any crawfish etouffee I’ve ever had. I picked out a few crawfish and ate them and they were good. Service was very friendly!
