Love, love, love their shrimp and grits! The shrimp were fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend.

After a long cross country move, I went and dropped off the U-Haul and asked the lady working there about some good takeout since I'm not too familiar with the area yet. She suggested Louisiana Lunchbox--and as she did, one of their employees happened to be walking by after work. He was kind enough to list off all the great food they had--and if an employee that works there says it's good, you know it's gonna be good. :)I went in the afternoon between rush times, so the restaurant was empty except for me and the staff. Everyone inside was so friendly and my order was ready quickly. I got some of the best coconut shrimp I've ever had. It came with sides, so I ordered the fried okra and jambalaya. I got the bayou banging shrimp basket for my husband with dirty rice and potato salad, then ordered 5 of the beignet balls. Everything was great and we will definitely be going back!

I would give this place at least 7 stars if I could. Girls trip with 10 ladies who all grew up in Louisiana. The food was on-point! Crawfish Nachos, Boudin Egg rolls, Fried Green Tomatoes, Maui Maui salad, Crawfish Étouffée, Fried Crawfish, Fried Shrimp, Seared White Fish, Roast Beef Poboy, Beniet Balls, Fried Oreos - the service was superb, prices were great and I would absolutely recommend this place.

Best poboys in town! They've got the right bread from New Orleans, and everything is fresh and seasoned well. They've got a bunch of other stuff too, but when you're craving a real deal poboy, you've got to go to Louisiana Lunchbox.

We thought the food was pretty good. I personally didn't care for the greens. I love greens in general but these weren't even ok. (In my book) The grits however was delicious. I tried my daughter's fries and didn't care for those either. She and I both agreed the shrimp and fish were amazing.

Good side salad, decent seafood gumbo and good bread pudding waffles. I'm from Louisiana, so I'm picky with my gumbo. The staff are very friendly, and the pricing is affordable.

Very good food. I love their fried whitefish (1 - 2) whole fillets and very flakey. The boudain balls weren't consistent from visit to visit. The cream sauce put on the fish and grits is to die for. I wished someone made a cream sauce soup with this cheese. Service is great. Staff is very friendly.

This has become a go to favorite for all things boudin; links, balls, stuffed balls, breakfast boudin, lunch boudin, dinner boudin, catered boudin, frozen so you can cook it at home and have it anytime boudin... you get the picture. But pardon me for saying, it's more than just beautifully bounteous boudin, there's every manner of Cajun delight all of which tastes like it came from "granny's kitchen" (anyone remember that GR restaurant icon). Crawfish, gator tail, jambalaya and every kind of southern fried veggie pickle to potato (yes it's a tuber and not the app), Lunchbox has you covered without breaking the bank. Never had a bad bite and that's saying a lot when mullet's involved, no not the hair you Billy Rae fanatics... grow up. Seriously, service is awesomely relaxed and vittles delectable. Dress down, it ain't $$$ but it's definitely 4 stars. This is treatin' yourself real good.
You must eat here when in Pensacola. Super friendly service and the food is delicious. Seafood gumbo was full of shrimp and the roux perfect. Fried shrimp basket had almost a half pound of shrimp and the fried okra lightly battered. Finished up with collard greens. Everything was served quickly and hot! They are open for lunch and dinner so come out and enjoy!
