“The ex-prison guard bouncer in the back of this bar is racist and aggressive. He is disrespectful, degrading and has no place at this bar. This used to be my favorite bar and now I have such a bad taste in my mouth about it that I don't ever want to go back. Such a horrible experience.“

“The atmosphere was laid back relax when I first got there I was very reluctant, but the moment we walked up to the door, people was very friendly. They were very complementary and as the night went on, I told my girlfriend if I ever came at the Pensacola, this is the way I would like to enjoy my evening. The bartender was great. “We flew all the way from Ohio to Florida to watch the Steelers vs. Packers game with my sister, and while it wasn’t the best night for her team, 200 South Tap House made the whole evening worth it.

The beer selection is top-notch, with a fantastic mix of local and national brews, but what really made the night unforgettable was the service. Kerrigan, the lone bartender holding down the bar on a busy game night, was amazing. She made us feel welcome right away, like we were regulars, not visitors from halfway across the country.

She was warm, attentive, and somehow managed to keep everyone happy without ever seeming rushed. She even made popcorn for us and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness and energy truly made the whole place feel like home.

It’s not every day you find a place where the staff genuinely care about your experience, but 200 South Tap House is exactly that. We’ll absolutely be back, not just for the drinks, but because Kerrigan made us feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere near Pensacola for the beers and the service.“
