Jay High School recently rented the country club for our 2025 Prom, and we have nothing but good things to say about our experience! Every person we worked with before, during, and after our event went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so much Jesse Sproles for all your help with our Prom!

The course is in terrible shape right now

I truly enjoyed attending the Bingo events to support Animal Allies, but I was deeply disappointed by what happened to the rescue. Pulling Bingo from them without any notice is not only unfair but also harmful, especially since rescues rely heavily on donations and events like this to stay afloat. It's a shame to see this happen.

I played Senic Hills on 12/17/2024. It was the first time playing the course is several months as it was in terrible shape. I would like to give a BRAVO ZULU to the entire team at Senic Hills, the course is a night and day difference and very playable! There are still improvements to be finished but is most definitely headed in the right direction! Again, great job and I’m looking forward to playing the course again in the near future. V/r, R.C.

Played a round 9/10/2024. The course is in terrible shape. No maintenance and upkeep taking place. Just pitiful. Sad to see it so poor. The owner should ride the course and look at what a shamble it is in.

Rick had me fuming… Worst golf course ever best thing was the drink cart. Very expensive for no reason.

we had a group in front of us playing 8 people and they were playing extremely slow. we got complaints of slow play even though we kept up with them the entire time. course marshall asked us several times to keep up while we were waiting for the group in front of us. people behind us were yelling at us and wanted to play through when they cloud clearly see that group in front of us. the people there are old hags that no one likes to play in front of or behind. our total tune for 9 holes was 2hr and 13 minutes

I've been here 7-8 times for brunch and bingo for a dog rescue. From what I understand, the clubhouse has recently had a change in management or ownership. Not for the better. Staffing is sparse and untrained. Service was much better when there was a "boss." There used to be someone in charge, but now it seems that people just do whatever they want.

The brunch chicken-fried steak is great, although the portion size is insulting. Poached eggs are fine. Potato portions are laughable. Come on, give me some food!

Beer selection for IPA drinkers is horrid. You may have two that you can buy at the gas station, but that's it.

The new iteration deserves two, maybe three stars. I'm giving four based on what it used to be. If it's the same as my last visit the next time, I'll downgrade the rating to one star, because that was ridiculous and sucked.

Terrible experience all around. Greens were terrible. Fairways were dead. Roughs were nothing but sand. Sand traps were overgrown. There were people’s yards along the course that had better quality grass and better manicured lawns. $50 for 18? Give me a break. Do better. Have some pride.

Just finished trying to play one round at this place on Monday morning. It was a hayfield! Sand traps were completely grown over with weeds. Greens had crabgrass growing on them. At the turn, I was asked to put my shirt with collar back on which I didn’t mind at 94°, but then the clubhouse attendant acted as if nothing was wrong with the course! when we started to complain about it, I asked him if his green keeping crew had gone on strike for the last three weeks, he said they were down to one person. The course is in shambles , we walked off after nine holes. This used to be a beautiful course, but evidently they pissed off their clientele and their workers to the point of abandonment.

Could be a really nice course, but lacks maintenance. The views were nice but the greens were almost unplayable. For the price I would hope for better conditions. Won't be coming back. Other courses in the area are nicer and are kept to a standard. For not much more you could play alot nicer courses.

Scenic Hills, not hardly. I don’t usually do reviews but felt like something needs to be said about this course. The layout could be good, but I am not sure I have ever seen a course in worse shape (I have played all over the southeast for 30 years). I was told their equipment broke and could not cut the rough, however the driving range was closed so they could cut the grass there. The rates would have been reasonable if I felt like I was playing a golf course instead of taking a safari. I was also told the new management was letting it grow up for some reason, probably to run off customers. I was robbed of green fees today and the group I played with stated they would not play here again. This course should have advised us of the situation or should have been shut down until maintenance was completed. I should have taken more pictures, check out these sand traps.

The staff is friendly, but the course is not well taken care of. Paying $40-50 dollars for greens having multiple dead grass spots and sand on them. The sand traps have plants growing in them and one sand trap I saw was full of grass and had no sand at all, never seen anything like it. Some fairways are better than others. Driving range is turf instead of real grass and does not come with a tee for your ball so you make sure to bring short tees if you want to warm up with your driver. The staff will get onto you if you try to hit off the grass at the range. I won’t be back until the course is better.
