I would post the food I’ve been enjoying from this wonderful place but I never get a chance to take a picture 😂 my favorite is the gumbo of fours but everything is AMAZING. I love Ms. Donna she’s the sweetest 🥰.

Went there today and was up charged for grouper on the combination platter. The two girls there nor I could find anything warning customers of an up charge for what they referred to as premium fish. Of course, I did not realize it till we were eating, and we compared prices at the table. One guy had the fried shrimp platter and tea, his was 18.00 something, he paid cash, the other guy had the fried shrimp platter, tea, and his was 20.00 something, I had the combination platter, with grouper and shrimp, tea, and was 25.00 and change. The menu said 16.99 for the Combination Platter. Not a good start for new owners. The fish and shrimp were excellent.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would, let me just say these people are amazing and kind everything you could dream of while sitting and dining in a restaurant, the cooks and the owner and the waitress are wonderful people, even with a full dining room and many orders coming through not once were we ignored or felt like a burden to them. The fried shrimp probably the best shrimp I have ever had and the mullet was very well cooked nothing was greasy or made you feel sick after eating because of the grease it was perfect to the full extent. If you are looking for a little restaurant for great experience and WONDERFUL food please take your time out of your day and stop in and try these wonderful folks! Real southern hospitality here! ❤️ will forever be a regular from now on!

Delicious! I ordered the daily special grouper supreme sandwich and my table also shared greens, cheese grits, and fried okra. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly!

Excellent dining experience! The food and service were great. My brother who is visiting from California and I had the absolute best shrimp poboy sandwiches. Denise was very attentive and welcoming. She is a tremendous asset to Shannon’s seafood kitchen!
