Went at about 3:30pm for an early dinner. It wasn't crowded and we ordered quickly but the table was a bit sticky, the French fries were lukewarm and I think the cole slaw was close to it's expiration (had that almost fermented flavor). Server was pleasant though, and the shrimp is ordered, and the flounder hubby ordered, we're fresh and hot. I like this location, just felt it needed a couple steps up on the sides.
It's been awhile since we have been to Shrimp Basket, but we decided to go this evening. The food was great, but my review is regarding our server, Don. He was very nice, made us feel welcome and genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. He offered us the specials and offered us dessert. They were having bingo tonight and he asked us to stay and enjoy instead of rushing to flip his table. We weren't able to stay for bingo, but we will definitely come back and ask for...
Came in pretty hesitant , drove by place a million times and never stopped . We we’re greeted and sat by Tonie J who also made great recommendations and sold me on some really great shrimp estufe and key lime pie . Will be back more regularly!!!!!
