This restaurant was overwhelmingly mediocre. We got the smoked tuna dip which was very good. However, we also got the crab and shrimp omelet which was $17 but tasted more like $10. There was barely any crab, and the shrimp were pretty small. The service was okay, but once our food came our waitress vanished. Will not be visiting again, maybe their dinner is better? Their brunch is not worth the price tag.

We stopped in here yesterday for lunch while hanging out waiting for a concert to start at the Saenger theater. Folks, this place has the best fish tacos we have ever eaten. The service was awesome, the place was clean, cool and just what we were looking for. We will definately be eating here again.
Wonderful waitstaff- friendly and accommodating!! Our daughter wanted to try Oysters for the first time and we were NOT disappointed!! Fresh and flavorful!

The food is absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My mother and I love it here. We especially love talking with the manager Mr. Tim. He’s so delightful and just a joy to be around.

Don’t go to this place. The service takes way too long for what was ordered. The serving sizes for the fish were too small for what was being charged. Snapper tasted old and green beans were sour and not well cooked. Hush puppies were also undercooked and my friend had a horrible gumbo. Do not recommend.

Not really worth it. Im not positive how they can even stay open honestly. It was dead when we arrived and still took an hour to get it to us. None of use really enjoyed what we ate and the portions were small. Some of the worst gumbo I have eaten

We truly weren’t impressed with this restaurant, unfortunately, as we had high hopes! Some servers seemed like they were in bad mood, didn’t want to be there, or had better things to do. Our food was not as good as we thought or how it sounded and kids plate we ordered was extremely salty, not even edible salty! The best part of this whole experience, was the fresh oysters and adult bevs. The manager (I believe) was very nice and personable when he came to greet tables. He also had the kids meal removed from our ticket. Maybe it was an off day, maybe this is the norm? I’m not sure, but we will probably not return.

We were excited to try Slick Lips in Pensacola, but overall, the experience was mixed.
The good:
The oysters were absolutely fresh and delicious—easily the highlight of our visit. I also had the Slick Lips Blueberry beer from Props Brewery, and it was outstanding. Crisp, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. If I came back, it would be for the oysters and the beer alone.
The not-so-good:
The fish taco had decent flavor, but the tortilla tasted old and rubbery, so we ended up eating just the filling. The sliders were bland, and when we mentioned the lack of flavor to the server, her response was that it’s “just meat and cheese”… which honestly made no sense and didn’t help.
My wife’s blue cocktail looked beautiful but was extremely sweet—almost undrinkable. Presentation was nice, but the taste didn’t match.
Final thoughts:
Great oysters, great beer, and nice ambiance, but the rest of the meal fell short. Giving it a fair 2 stars for the items that did hit the mark.

The bartender was nice, made good drinks and was working her booty off! However, there was definitely some problems with our visit. . When we first arrived we sat at the bar and the bar tender warned us that the guy shucking oysters was messy and she was right. He was shucking them and splashing oyster juice on the bar right in front of us where our food will later be placed. He used his gloved hands covered in oysters to touch everything. He touched two of the drink coolers, the counters, his cell phone…and who knows what else with juicy oyster hands. He then used a dry rag to wipe up the juices.
Later our friends arrived and we moved to a table and two people in our group never got their food, come to find out they gave it to someone else. They had already ate it and left. When my husband told the server he didn’t need his food anymore, she threw her arms up and said “it’s not my fault” . But really it is, our table was her responsibility. Disappointing. Not what you expect when you drop over 100 just on mine and my husbands not to mention our three friends.

Do not order from here, waste of money. Did not receive what we ordered. The food that we did get was very little for the 50 dollars we spent. Tried calling them to complain but they did not care. I will tell everyone I see do not go there. I have pictures of the few little oyster that we got, and did not receive the fries or coleslaw that was to come with meal.
