Use to be favorite spots to eat. However today the server and the food were horrible. We were ask to seat ourselves. After which the couple that came in after me and mom was seated by a sever. The rude sever gave them a menu and took their drink order while we had to wait. We got our food and it was hair in my sandwich which I felt was done on purpose. Never seen this lady a day in my life. I don’t know what’s her deal. However if you visit this horrible place make sure you stay away from the brunette mid age sever. I took one bite of my sandwich I was done. She was so bad she sent a young server to finish helping us.
Didn’t ask them to take the food back because at this point I trust it. Didn’t feel welcome.

Warning- NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY
Restaurant was freezing, on a cool rainy day in March. Not very crowded, but still took awhile to get our food. Food was tasty, but my daughter, who has celiac disease, got very sick after eating. She ordered shrimp and grits, which in their defense, when asked, they said they didn't know is it was GF. At their prices, we're surprised to find the chief uneducated about gluten, but as that's typically a GF dish we ordered it. I wish we hadn't. Otherwise good food, but needless to say we won't be returning.

Don't let the shopping center or the meager entrance deter you from visiting the Fishing Hole. This place has a surprising NOLA vibe, a smartly curated menu and serves excellent food. Try the shrimp and grits, mullet, catfish or the Mahi Mahi, the result will be the same... the food is so good it'll make your lips smack your eyeballs! At least that's how my dad (81) summed it up.

Compare to the one in Milton, this place did not impress me. The smoke tuna dip was different than we had in Milton, so they must have different recipe. The one we were served here was very wet and lose dip and too much mayonnaise that killed smokey flavor. I would preffer the Milton location overall.

We eat here a lot and have never had this bad of service. Taylor P if you see this please try to do better. You never checked on us after you brought us our food. My wife had to get up and go get her own refill and even then you just stared at her and the other waitress got it for her. Didn’t even come to check on us after that to see if I needed a refill. Didn’t show up until it was time to bring the check. I left a tip not a full tip but left something we normally tip very well. Don’t know what happened to all the regular waitresses but they were a lot more friendly and attentive. Today’s date is 01-28-2025 and 7:30 pm. Watching her interact with the people beside us she didn’t even ask them if they needed anything. They had to ask for stuff as well. Please do better because we love coming here but the wait staff has gone downhill.

Where are the BLACK TABLE CLOTHS!! I can’t tell what you how that little thing sets your restaurant above all seafood places I have ever been in! I don’t feel I have walked into a “takey-outey” place!! Love the food & servers… & the cooks are consistent!!!

Used to consider this a pretty good place to get good seafood (especially when it first opened) but admittedly hadn’t been in a while. Fish portions were lacking both in size and quality. We had to hunt down our server for help, she was not happy with her job that day. On top of all that they were playing cable news on the TVs at dinner time. I just feel like if it’s a real tablecloth restaurant that harshes the vibe. Also the pricing with the credit cards was weird… just make a note about a service fee and add it at the end? Anywho, probably won’t be back which is a bummer.

Great food, a little pricey but we're talking trigger and snapper as some of the choices. The 1 bathroom is shared and could be dominated before your turn, if you know what I mean. We will go back.

This place was a surprise to me!
We walked in to linen tablecloths and candles on tables! Very good business! I've been there twice and the food is excellent and service as well.
