Been here a few times, and it’s absolutely amazing. The people that work here are fantastic, the atmosphere was quiet as a mouse (which I love), and the food is just delicious as always!
We came for the cultural experience. Will come again for the food! We had never been to a Waffle House so we decided to come while we are visiting the South.We sat at the counter because the few booths inside were already filled. They asked me how I wanted my bacon cooked!! I'm in my '80s and no one ever asked me that before! The server suggested medium, so I went with that and was very happy. My over-medium eggs were done perfectly. My daughter had grits with cheese...
What a wonderful experience we had at Waffle House today! Such a sweet surprise to be greeted by Mr. Waffle House, John! He made us feel like we’d just entered the door of a white linen restaurant. And a special shoutout to our lovely server, Manda, who endured with grace our poor rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Thanks for a fun Sunday morning.
