I'm not Mexican but I've eaten at my share of Mexican restaurants including in Mexico City. This feels as close to authentic as it can get and the food is delicious. And to my surprise the staff spoke English. so as a non-spanish speaker that was also very welcoming. I went for the first time during the World Cup Brazil was playing on the large TVs there. Love the decor in this place . Food and service needs help. The bricket was sooo good.. got the taco but didn't know I could get it as my protein for my meal would have loved it being mentioned somewhere on the menu or by the server. I got the chicken instead and it was just ok.. the yellow rice was underdone and crunchy.. not good.. could not eat it.. drink refills were a struggle.. asked several servers but still waited nearly 15 minutes for a drink refill.. Found this place on DoorDash, ordered for delivery and the food did not disappoint at all. My wife and I had the Queso Birria, the Casa Nachos, and the Elotes and everything was fantastic. This is the first restaurant we've been able to find that makes the Birria properly, from the melted stretchy cheese to the caldo. The elote had a flavor we haven't been able to find anywhere else. My wife is a big fan of Mexican food but is usually left disappointed by the restaurants...
