Although we only went to the bar, we did experience a super level of service from at least two of the bartenders that assisted us. The tuna tartar, the sweet ginger calamari and the bistro salad were all great!Looking forward to our next visit, where we will experience the main dining hall.

I've heard wonderful things about Kaluz in Fort Lauderdale so decided to try the location in Plantation again being that's its closer to me. I wasn't super impressed the the first time about a year ago but this visit was much better! Virginia helped us and she was fantastic. She made us feel very welcomed and her service was on point. The atmosphere was so beautiful and inviting. The decor and ambiance is exactly what I would expect in a restaurant like Kaluz. We ordered some the chimichurri steak which was delicious and the bass, also delicious but small portioned for my husband (lost part of my steak to him ?). Regardless we really enjoyed our visit and are excited to return soon. We visited on a Monday evening and were seated quickly.
I’ve been to the Kaluz in Fort Lauderdale and I loved the view of the water from the outside (and even inside) of the restaurant. I walked away impressed with how amazing the service, the atmosphere and the quality of the food.The same can be said about the Kaluz in the Plantation location and it’s even better. The inside is much bigger and the vibe is more relaxed with darker lighting. It was on the colder side inside, but I didn’t mind it.I would strongly recommend trying their wine list since it is quite extensive. I would also recommend trying their sweet chili glazed calamari, their Danish Ribs and their filet mignon!
I ordered the coconut shrimp, which included a sweet cherry and another fruit concoction. It was soooo good!! The octopus was crispy on the outside. It was served with potato wedges. The wedges were so delicious. They were like large crispy fries. Everything was very flavorful. I'm definitely coming back. The server, Guillermo, was attentive and friendly.
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend lunch with a friend. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. The environment was comfortable with a really nice water element in the center of the restaurant and the service was excellent!
The spinach dip appetizer was plentiful and tasted delicious. My husband ordered the NY strip, which was tender and flavorful. I ordered the bone-in pork chops, which were extremely tough and chewy. Another person in our party also ordered the pork chops and had the same issue. We were a party of 10. Everyone else was satisfied with their order. Our server was very nice and attentive.

Loved the atmosphere. Wait staff were very attentive and the service as well as the food were first class....I would definitely recommend.
Our waiter Ashley was personable and charming. Very knowledgeable. Food was good, fresh even. They didn't have all the menu items that the other restaurant has because of how new it is. Parking isnt the best, but valet is offered.
