We ordered the family meal duo, which is supposed to come with a whole chicken, rice, beans, bread rolls, plantains, and your choice of additional protein. Our “whole” chicken is not whole, it’s 4 chopped up legs and 4 thighs. Sure 8 pieces, but not what we ordered. They also left out the rolls, which was a bummer.
Now for the service: we ordered online 30 minutes prior to arrival. When we arrived the order was being prepared and the people working were noticeably dragging their asses. Once the order was ready and bagged, it took the lady an additional 10 minutes to seal it with a sticker (completely unnecessary and a waste of time IMO).
Quality of service and the food is going down in my experience and I wish it wasn’t so. It seems to me that things are heading in the wrong direction at this establishment, which is unfortunate.

First time eating at Pollo Tropical, and it was fantastic. Walked in and was greeted with smiles. Took our order, and the food was fresh and hot. Bowls were full of rice, beans, chicken, and pork. Absolutely delicious.

I don’t know if I should do more or less reviews when I’m upset or please by service. I’m not even sure if this helps anyone or the location but this has ridiculously enough my fault now my third time going here and having my order completely messed up the first and second time we did have a manager who is very helpful help us out and even had one of my meals replaced doesn’t completely discount the service is continuously off! Always always always missing something and then a 50/50 you’ll get your correct order and maybe 25% chance they have the actual product or sauces that you even need. And the quesadilla wrap just as a sidenote is an extremely small portion for a $10 combo. If you’re craving Pollo, it is 100% worth the effort to go to a different location.
