“Well, this is certainly a fine deli!! And to think, it's inside a casino in Pompano! Very clean place with all your favorite jewish deli items! I went a little healthier than normal with a turkey sandwich. The turkey was fresh not processed deli meat and sliced thin! The rye bread was tasty, the tomato, lettuce and red onion were fresh, fresh and fresh!! The final touch was some mustard and this was a terrific sandwich. Accompanied by a delish coleslaw and a kosher pickle. Just perfect! My dining partner always says when at a NY style deli get the Brisket! The brisket sandwich was seasoned perfectly and not dry at all. The gravy was a delish touch that wasn't needed but so gooooood!! Even if you don't gamble, there is an easy free parking garage and quick stroll right to this restaurant!!“

“Over the past month there are new owners. They go above and beyond to please all their customers. I am here at least once a week. The shawarma is excellent and the pita bread is the best around. “My mom, aunt, my two daughter ages 10, 8 and I stumbled upon the Friendship Cafe just leisurely walking on our way to get back on the water taxi. The restaurant was bright and very inviting. We didn’t know how hungry we were until stepping in. I ordered for all of us to share, the Shawarma plate with falafel and six of the sides. I could have eaten them all, as there were many to choose from. I have never seen my girls enjoy a meal so much as well as my mom and aunt. I would have been able to post a picture, but they devoured it to fast, I wasn’t able to capture one. That plate was enough to feed and satisfy five bellies, it was fast, fresh, reasonably priced and served from one of the most friendly smiles we had encountered thus far in our week vacation. I highly recommend the Friendship Cafe for the delicious food, wonderful menu, friendly service and their mission. With one day left before we head home, I hope to make it back.“

“I think that Smash House is an amazing place. My husband happened upon it when he was at Wynn Dixie doing his weekly meat shopping. The owner gave him an intro deal (that was not even the great part) but it was 100 dollars for 24 patties and all of the fixin's including gluten free rolls! My daughter and I are gfcf so that was incredible. The flavors blended. The carmalized onions the sweet pickles and the red onions were so good together but to top it off there was cheese and the bun toasted was the best ever. This place needs more customers! pack it in because you won't be sorry“
