She was so sweet from the first time she came over, she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and the culture of the restaurant and how it worked. “This hidden gem serves some of the most delicious Mediterranian-style cuisine I have ever had. My SO and I split a Halloumi cheese appetizer, which was recommended by the chef/owner Aysar. The presentation and the taste were top-notch. Next, I ordered the mixed grill for 1, which came with 3 different kabobs (chicken, lamb, and kafta ground beef), a generous portion of rice, a roasted tomato and a small side salad. The food was delicious and the portions were huge.

The service staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. The menu accommodates dietary restrictions and has plenty of options for vegetarians and those with dairy and gluten intolerances. Chef/owner Aysar is a kind man who successfully ensures that patrons leave with their bellies full and a smile on their face.

Overall, my SO and I had an incredible experience here and for anyone that is looking for a new place to try out, look no further. We will be back to here again soon 😎“

“Had a great experience at Gyroville! The food tasted good and was flavorful — the gyro meat was well-seasoned and juicy, and the toppings were crisp and plentiful. I really liked that they gave you options on the sides, kind of like a Mediterranean Chipotle. The staff was friendly and got my order out quickly even though it was busy.

The food was incredibly flavorful and aromatic. The dishes were authentic and absolutely delicious.

We tried the hummus and pickled vegetables, the vegetable soup, savory lamb chops, beef & chicken shawarma, delectable desserts, and Turkish coffee to end the evening.

Our server, Ras, was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The manager came out and asked how our food was and offered us complimentary Turkish coffee.

*My only suggestion would be to bring the entrees out at the same time as one person at our table received her main course much earlier than the rest of us and was finished eating by the time we received the rest of our entrees.

My friend wanted something on the water that was unique. Olive & the Sea looked like the perfect fit. I reached out a week prior to see if they could accommodate a party of 10. Bernadette (events manager) was amazing and got back to me right away. The restaurant was STUNNING. Beautiful atmosphere inside and out with water views. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Everything was very fresh and tasted great! Rachel our waitress did everything she could to make the night perfect. “Every time I've been there it's been consistently solid. However, from my experience, if you go during the evening, they do run out of certain menu items. The last time I was there, the staff did strike up a conversation with me and other customers while they were making the food. It was nice.The atmosphere itself is nothing special as it's a casual fast food joint, but it's fine. It's well-kept. They have a couple of tables outside as well.

“We stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale hotel and this is their main restaurant. We went for a quiet dinner today and we have been quite satisfied with the service and the food. They are really trying to be kind to us and you can almost feel a family type of business even though it’s part of a chain... We only took the BLT sandwich since we were not that hungry. The food was really good and their prices are very acceptable for a hotel restaurant.“
