“People are right--lines are out the door but it is because the food is excellent. Was there at a busy lunchtime and the workers were hustling. The fact that people can't or won't read a menu or make up their minds is not the servers' fault, that is what is holding up the line (don't say you want a menu fixed bowl and then change every single thing in it; it is okay to have questions but not knowing the difference between a pita sandwich a bowl slows things down). You can get out the door with a huge, built to order bowl for $12-13. Can't beat that.“

“I love this place! If I wanna eat out, this is my go to spot. I usually go for the pita melt with lamb, feta, and tomatoes, and it’s sooo delicious. The flavors combined with the different sauces is chefs kiss. The staff is always friendly and sometimes give you samples to try out the different sauces. “I like this place a lot. The food is served impeccably. Large menu of authentic Turkish food. Reasonable prices and the most important very nice owners (Tuba’s brother). The tea they serve is black tea from Sri Lanka (it has some bergamot hint ). Its a true killer. I highly recommend them.“

“Tried Pita Express and it exceeded expectations. My son and nephew recommended it, and after trying it, I see why they like it so much.

They do something you don’t see often—they have both lamb and turkey shawarma on separate spits. I went with the lamb, and it was excellent—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly.

The pita really stands out. It’s softer, fluffier, and feels homemade, which makes a big difference compared to the usual wraps.

They also serve complimentary fries on the side, which is a nice added touch.

“WOW! This was our second time at Candela. This time, we had my husband's birthday dinner there with about 7 people. The appetizers/tapas were beyond delicious. Would highly recommend the octopus, the yuca, the potatoes - the list goes on! Some advice - do not leave there without trying the paella - the best you've ever had! The chef/owner kept coming over to us and talking to us about the food - the servers, the staff, everyone was just wonderful. What an incredible, personal experience... cannot wait to go back.“

“The wife and I stumbled on this place on the way to visiting Pompano Beach. I was wanting a hookah but, in Atlanta where I am from, most of the hookah lounges that serve food have mediocre quality. My expectations were low but I was amazingly blown away. Being that they are by the beach, they offer fresh fish options. My snapper was probably the best grilled fish I had in the longest time. Flavorful, the rice and veg was a great side, and the hummus with gyro meat was lovely as well. The dessert on point and the hookah ripped almost as well as when I packed it myself. The experience was so good, we stopped by a second time the next day on our way back home. Had to try something else. The mixed grill was a great option and we tried the wings too. The wings were phenomenal. For a new place I hope we see this still going strong when we visit the area again next year.“

“Little hidden place in Plantation, located on Pine Island Road in a small shopping plaza. Izgara is a Middle Eastern restaurant, with delicious food! The Hummus , is the best I have ever had! It's creamy, buttery with a little tangy kick! I had the Skewered Steak Platter with salad, fresh cut sweet potato fries ( that I kept dipping into my hummus) 😋 check this place out! P.S. they also have vegetarian options“

“Amazing small Market that churns out delicious Lebanese food. The flavors are so good you'll come back often! They have a full sit down restaurant attached, but my wife and I like the simplicity of ordering a Shwarma or mixed grill platter and sitting at one of the tables with our toddler (who adores their pita and hummus), no frills. Absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who likes the cuisine.“

“The owner is a real jerk, vaping as he prepares the food. I supposedly went in to train as a cashier, only to get overwhelmed by duties as the cashier, taking orders on the phone, packing take-outs, handling Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, serving all the tables as a waitress for the whole place, cleaning them all up as a busperson, and bringing patio furniture outside. Good thing I didn't work at night or I'd have the added duties of also mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms as a janitor, and bringing in all the patio furniture. The owner calls it multi-tasking. I call it too cheap to hire more employees. It is insane to ask for so much from one person! As it is, he only pays minimum wage and all the credit card tips are kept by the owner himself! From here I have learned that I'll be leaving cash tips for wait staff in the future, since greedy owners like this feel they are entitled to keep all credit card tips. The place is a disgrace.“

Food has great portions and I love the options and I will say the food has great flavor there wasn’t a dish I didn’t like.

“We were a party of 7 celebrating a birthday. The manager took our cake and candles and told our server about them. Our server Adonis went above and beyond all expectations. He took flowers in the back to bring out with the cake and even put them on a vase. He asked me to give him a heads up on who the birthday girl was. He took out pictures. Finally he was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and allowed us to get separate checks. He even accommodated a late guest arrival for a total of 8 people.
