if you enjoy quality lean brisket at an excellent price, this is EASILY the best brisket I have ever had in my entire life and I've been to dozens of BBQ places throughout the state. Texas style, legitimately smoked and delicious. the smoked wings are fantastic they are crispy in the outside and moist on the inside without being slimy/fatty. 100/10 BBQ I would recommend to anyone.

I LOVE Down the Hatch for many reasons! The view! The food! The staff are always great!! But could you, for the love of god PLEASE get the “good plastic” for the wine!! I mean, if you want us to pay $10/$13 for a glass of wine at least meet us half way and ditch the TERRIBLE cheap plastic tasting plastic cups!! Pleeeease!!! 🙏🏼 See you next week! 😁

Everything! Fantastic food, incredible service, and outstanding personnel! The only thing missing is the tacklebox on the tables outside, they were truly the best! Our waitress Debbie is awesome and never steers us wrong on recommendations 🤤❤️

Bad service by hostess on seating choice. After requesting near the water, the hostess refused seating me in my preferred location because I was a small party. Very disappointing for a visitor on vacation.

We each had the She Crab Soup. It was meh to me. Not a lot of lump crab and very almost too creamy. Then the Smoked Parmesan Oysters 6 for $18. I appreciated them smoked but again the Parmesan cheese was lacking some bright or different flavoring. Good still. Oysters were pretty large and cooked correctly.
Cock5ails- He got a Tito's Bloody Mary and it was very good as well as my Blueberry Lemon Martini with boba blueberry's. Nice treat and drink !
Over all always went a decent place for food and drinks added bonus is the marinas and of course the light house.

Been here several times. Love the seating by the water, and if you're here near sundown it is a great location to watch it set.
Good seafood, including the smoked fish dip.
Since another nearby place on the river just shut down permanently, I think I'll be coming here even more frequently.

Hey ya’ll, just got back from late lunch/early dinner with some friend at Down the Hatch (DTH) and have to give a shout out to our fabulous server, Debbie. We were so impressed with her helpful approach, kind manner and knowledge of the menu items, including suggestions for preparation. Too often I go to a restaurant and the server pops over to the table and says, “What’ll you have?” Debbie’s approach is so much more helpful and delightful. Can’t say enough about this hard working lady. Next time you’re at Down the Hatch, ask for Debbie! You’ll be glad you did.

The only reason why I give it a four star is because I feel like they should be more safer with what they put into their food to keep together. For example, the wooden sticks they put into burgers to keep from falling apart. I had one earlier and got a splinter in my throat. The staff, however, was very accommodating to my children and I. They paid for my food entirely and asked if they needed to call someone and to walk us my car. The food was very delicious. The staff was outstanding. My new fear now is those wooden sticks..
