“My buddy Frank & myself stopped in Hooters in Daytona today 8-1-24 which we do just about every time we get down that way, today was exceptionally different the food seemed to be better than the last couple of times there and the waitress was exceptionally great, (SARA ) if you get down that way stop in & see her, Guaranteed to be a great experience !!!“

“We started out sitting near the kitchen at the bar, and while the bartender was fantastic, there was a bit of an unexpected smell coming from the kitchen. No problem though—we just moved down to the other end of the bar, and the bartender was more than happy to accommodate us with a smile. She mixed up an amazing drink, got our food out quickly, and everything tasted really good. In the end, we had a great time, enjoyed our meal, and left happy!“

“Had dinner for our last night in Daytona and couldn’t have asked for better everything! The food was amazing and affordable, the rum punch was delicious, and our server Amber was fantastic! “What a gem! I'm new to the area, but my friend is a local who can often be found at Surf Lounge partaking in interactive gaming, pool tournaments, or simply enjoying a drink after a hard day's work. I've had only a few samples of the food there so I really can't speak on that just yet, however, the few "bites" were great. The staff is friendly, efficient service, and happy to answer my "not from NSB" questions. The patrons are also a friendly bunch. I think Surf Lounge will be a favorite watering hole ...and I recommend all you tourists vacationing in New Smyrna Beach to stop in to Surf Lounge, relax, have a drink, and a bite to eat ... It's my kinda "retro" for sure.--Sandy

“I've been to this restaurant every time I stay in Daytona Beach and I've had nothing but great experiences there. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. During our most recent visit, the first week of August, we had dinner at Don Rico's the evening we checked-in to the hotel. I believe our the bartender's name was Antonio... He took very good care of me and my daughters. Fantastic Lemon-Drop Martinis! I ordered a BLT with Provolone, which was something slightly altered from the menu, and asked for malt vinegar for my fries, which he was happy to provide. He was very sweet, friendly and attentive. My daughters and I had a couple other meals/cocktails/desserts during our stay and were always happy with our service. On our final day in Daytona, we decided on one more lunch at Don Rico's before catching our flight and were delighted to have Antonio take care of us once again! I ordered the BLT and he remembered my provolone and malt vinegar, without me needing to ask. I love that! Thanks for the amazing service! Customer service skills are lacking, too often, these days. It's comforting to know that the food and service at Don Rico's hasn't changed!“

“Listen, I love the three cheese chicken penne. I crave it every waking moment of my day. I would have it everyday, breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s so delicious. I have to force myself to save some in the restaurant to take home to have the next day, because after i have that meal, it’s the best day ever. And this restaurant is so understanding of my accommodations. I’m vegetarian, and no matter what they always put it on the side for me. If i could choose to have a meal before my death it would be the three cheese chicken penne, chicken on the side please so my boyfriend can meal prep with it later in the week. Thank you applebees, i wish i could give you all my money. Please make an applebees in Palm Coast so i dont have to drive to Port Orange 🙏“
