Awful service. Overpriced. Arrogant wait staff.
Decent food and nice view. Service was not great to say that least. Our young waiter was EXTREMELY arrogant. Some of the young male waiters were demeaning to the young women waiters. We were also brought the wrong order, not even close to what we ordered. Visiting from another state and def won’t be back next time we are here.

My family and I have been loyal customers of Barbara Jeans for years and have always enjoyed our meals here. However, we had a very disappointing experience during our last visit.
To start, my meal came with only one side, despite the menu clearly stating that two sides were included. When I received a baked potato, it was hard on one side. The replacement potato was also undercooked.
When I raised the issue with the manager, the situation became more frustrating....read full review

Barbara Jean's On The Water is a beloved local restaurant with a touch of southern charm and a great view of the intercoastal. It offers delicious food, including a tasty fish sandwich and highly recommended crab cakes that are absolutely wonderful. The restaurant also has an outdoor deck, providing a scenic backdrop for meals. The staff is known for their friendly service and excellent food quality. The assorted bread basket, with its awesome pumpkin bread, is a delightful way to start a meal. Customers enjoy the excellent broccoli/rice casserole and country fried steak, as well as the water views and relaxed atmosphere. The fish dishes, such as the Mahi sandwich and fish bites, are particularly praised for being fresh and perfectly cooked. While the pecan crusted chicken fingers were found lacking in flavor, the crab cakes and she crab soup were well-received, though the latter was considered too spicy.
