Excellent experience! Our softball team had a bonding brunch and South Kitchen handled our very large party perfectly. Food was amazing, service was incredible. Large variety of brunch and lunch meals were ordered and everyone had high praises. Chicken tenders were phenomenal, and anyone who got the fried green tomatoes said it was the best they’ve ever had. Bourbon biscuit and jam is a must try. The steak that comes with the steak and eggs is huge! Big enough to share for sure. Can’t wait to be back to try more dishes! Easy 5 stars.

South Kitchen is a fabulous restaurant! The atmosphere as well as the staff and the delicious food make this restaurant an absolute favorite! Our experience continues to be a positive one each time we choose this restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of items and the daily happy hour menu is also excellent! It is located in a convenient location and has convenient parking!

This is one of our happy hour rotations. The gold Cadillac is our go to cocktail and can’t beat the hamburger sliders!
I ordered a martini when I got it the glass was half full I drank it and ordered another one and explained to the e waitress that it was only half full when I got the second one it also was half full
I’m not sure why your not giving the customer what they paid for but it makes me wonder what else are you shorting the customer on
Best appetizers in Nocatee! Wonderful happy hour specials. The fish tacos are to die for, but I would pass on the sliders. (Dry) Everything else was awesome!

Refused my service because I had a service animal, told my wife and kids that he will not serve us once I told him that I my dog was a service dog and even showed him my card! Which I am not required to do! Law states he can only ask 2 questions! Which neither of them did he ask! Told me my dog was an emotional support animal and anyone can buy a card saying it’s a service animal. Then told me I need to have a vest on my dog saying it’s a service animal! Which again is not required! Followed with “Get out of his Resturant that he will not serve me” totally disrespectful and a disgusting attitude. Will never step foot in that place again. 19 yrs of service! Disabled vet 100%.

First time and last time dining at South Kitchen Nocatee. The staff wasn't very welcoming and we felt as if we were more of an inconvenience stopping in to grab lunch. Our server never checked on us or offered drink refills after we recieved our mediocre burger and sandwich. The restaurant wasn't busy and not only was the service and food lackluster, the floors and surrounding tables appeared dirty. The restroom had toilet paper rolls stored on the stall floors and paper towel rolls stored on the baby changing table due to broken holders. I would not recommend eating at this establishment.

It pains me to write such a disappointing review. My family just relocated back to NE Florida and we were very excited to try South with friends after soccer practice. I looked through photos online and all of the food looked delightful and our friends provided rave reviews with the caveat that the restaurant is sometimes a bit slow. WOW . . . was it slow! We arrived about 6:30PM and ordered drinks and entrees the moment our server came to our table (probably no later than 6:45). We waited and waited and waited and asked our server multiple times for an update to which the eventual reply was "your food it being plated right now." About fifteen minutes later the food was delivered to the table - all of it was burnt and/or over cooked. The bread and buns were charred on the kids cheeseburgers and grilled cheese. The biggest disappointment was the $27 jambalaya special - the roux was burned, the shrimp, chicken and sausage were overcooked and extremely tough, and the wild rice was hard and undercooked. Additionally, there was a film on top of the dish as though it had been sitting under a heating lamp for an extended period of time. I brought all of this to our waitresses attention and she offered to remake it, however, it was fast approaching bed time and we were so famished that I couldn't dare risk sending it back and waiting another eternity to eat. We all ate some of it and ended up going home to eat dinner number two. My family will not be returning.
