“Me and my decided to eat at Skillets for breakfast after Blood tests. It is a beautiful looking wraparound restaurant with chairs and tables outside if you want to eat. As you walk in the hostess station is up front about 4 or 5 feet away it has a desk with a register, where after you are done eating you can either go to the register or waitress has a phone with card swiping ability. The interior is unique nicely designed with unique art and decor, the atmosphere is like your at a farm house and you where invited as a guest to have a farm fresh breakfast. Interior there is alot of tables and booth seating. This day it was not busy but it varies depending on the time and day!!! Waitress was very nice we just sat down and waitress an if we wanted coffee and me and mom said “Yes” it took 5 minutes for the coffee made fresh !! I like cream with my coffee, tables do have (salt, pepper shaker, ketchup and hot sauce and jelly with a bunch of cream)!! I ordered their Potato Pancakes with (2) eggs Sunny side up with (2) slices of thick bacon delicious!!! and cinnamon with apple slices and side of sour cream. I poured ketchup and hot sauce and it was very delicious!! I haven’t had potato pancakes in a very long time !! Excellent coffee as well !!! My mom ordered Avocado toast on a multigrain toast with avocado spread with scrambled eggs with tomato cut in cubes with hash browns and with coffee as well !! It took 10-15 minutes for our order to come to the table!!We both enjoyed our breakfast and we did like the menu!! I would try it !! It does get busy on Sundays have to wait 2-3 hrs and large lines!!!“

“My daughters and I came in for breakfast. We had some pancakes to share and I had eggs and hashbrowns. It was all delicious. Tomas was our server and he was amazing. Very attentive and proactive. He was also patient considering my daughters are young and loud. We will definitely be back and asking for Tomas.“

“I’m obsessed with this place. Even on a their busy days the meals are quick and delicious. Their special bacon is so yummy. Everything is. Parking is bad because of Starbucks and Panera being close so be patient. I promise you will not be disappointed. The servers are great too.“

Both dishes were served promptly and prepared to perfection, resulting in a very satisfying meal. The only suggestion is to put a little less butter on the grits. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very good, however the bathrooms, while generally clean, could benefit from a more thorough cleaning in the future (floor tiles and tops of tiles on wall). Nonetheless, I felt comfortable using the facilities. Our waitress, Christina, provided excellent service, contributing to the overall positive experience. For those seeking a reliable breakfast spot in Punta Gorda, this Waffle House is highly recommended. Even with the $.50 per egg surcharge, the price was very reasonable. I do not mind paying the surcharge. You can tell this restaurant is managed well.“

Even so, she handles everything effortlessly and never misses a beat. I wish I could remember her name because she’s been our server every time, and she’s absolutely fantastic. The food is great too, but it’s the outstanding service that really sets this iHOP apart from the rest.“
