I’ve been coming to Kava Culture Port Charlotte for over 3 years now and can’t believe i haven’t left a review sooner!
Where do I start? When I first came in, I had absolutely zero clue about what Kava or Kratom was, the staff were amazingly knowledgeable and patient in explaining everything from where it’s grown, what effects it has, and which drinks make the product taste the best! The community is so welcoming, friendly and supportive! As someone who was once going out to bars to socialize, I swear in my first 2 visits I made more genuine, friendly, open minded people than in 4 years of going to bars! So if you’re in the area, I highly recommend you stop in, and try their delicious drinks they have on tap, as well as the Bula bombs and their drink recipes! Bula!

Been coming here several years and it's still my favorite kava bar on the west coast. Loveable staff. Cool managers. Oh, and I always have the best dang kava here. The happy hour deal is a bit of a steal.
Christa was very courteous and helpful during my visit yesterday. She has a great personality and was a pleasure to interact with. Kava Culture of Port Charlotte is my favorite kava bar.

Just a shell of it's former self. I went to all the new kava bars here in Charlotte county and I have to say out of all of them. This is by far the worst. Kratom is like water here and if it's not that it's just disgustingly dirty. One does not have to sacrifice flavor for power or either or. I normally wouldn't write something bad but it's just not a good place if you want a sober environment. The people here are great. From what I can see it's the area and the whole vibe that bothers me. the bikers next door make it hard to feel safe and to see that there is a broken window, it probably isn't. The people are very full of clicks here and I just feel unwelcomed. Sure I go in there. I sit down. It's all hello hi, but then I started listening and all I can hear is just gossip about other people and I just don't want to be around that or be the next victim. I got more bang for my buck at black sheep and Bula Bay and didn't taste like someone through powder in water and called it a drink. I'm writing this because people should know what they're getting. Great people. Terrible products. I loved spending $50 only getting two large drinks such a great time especially when I didn't feel much. While at other places I'll get buzzed off 2 regular ones. Save yourself the time and don't bother especially if you want a safer environment that doesn't have bikers revving there engines, and Kratom drinks that actually work. I've lived in st.pete for years and to see how the kava bars revert to this is just sad. Now this place just have homeless people hang out and let in people who cause problems. This is my fifth time going. My third time I was there some man was yelling on the top of his lungs profanic things. And on my first two times I ran into homeless people asking me for money while I was just trying to work on my real estate work. This place isn't safe. This place isn't sober. If it's not the drunks that are walking in, it's the people who smell like pot and make the whole place smell like it as well. Please do yourself a favor and drive to Downtown Kava or BULA BAY OR EVEN BLACK SHEEP. AT LEAST at those places you won't be harassed or in the middle of some fight. Or relapse seeing all the beer the biker and drunks have hanging out outside. I'd rather go to a place that's not full of drama. I really wanted this place to be a good place. It was one of my first places but I am just tired of coming in seeing the same thing. I really like my bartenders and it turns out I lost one of my favorite ones so I will not be here. Good luck and I hope things get better.
Excellent atmosphere, delicious drinks, and a welcoming crowd of regulars. It's a great spot to grab some kava or kratom. Personally, I prefer getting plain kava, and they have several types to choose from and boy are they strong.

Sara is the nicest and most professional employee here. She is one of the most knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond for those she helps. Sara is the reason my family and I come here. We could go to any of the other Kava bars but Sara has single handedly earned our trust and loyalty. You cannot go wrong stopping in to see Sara. No matter what you’re in the best hands with her. Not everyone has a genuine personality, energy or enthusiasm that Sara gives to all her customers. She is hands down the best!

We visited Kava Culture Kava Bar while on vacation, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and ambiance—it’s such a relaxing and welcoming spot. A special shoutout to Ricky, who went above and beyond to make my birthday feel truly special. His kindness and energy made the night unforgettable, and it was so appreciated. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique experience with amazing people!

I’ve been coming to Kava Culture PC for 5 years now. This place is very welcoming and accepting of all lifestyles. I’ve seen many managers come and go and a few I truly miss. They have all been very friendly except one but she is no longer here.
Now I do feel Ricky was demoted too soon. Every new manager needs time to prove their worth. He was on the right track and I feel in a year you would have seen an amazing change to your PC location and a boost in sales. No one coming in as manager can make a huge change in less than 6 months, but you must of had your reasons. He definitely was on the right track, spring break cookout, boxing night gathering even a Super Bowl party.
As for your new manager/returning manager Jaclyn she is amazing. She stepped right in where she left off and kept it rolling so well you didn’t even realize there was a change. Just this morning when I walked it she immediately greeted me by name, made my drink of choice and then looked at me and said let’s do bombs I’ve been waiting for you. She truly is amazing and I consider her a great friend and feel I could call on her for anything even though I’ve only known her since coming to your PC location, that’s how welcoming she makes me feel and I’ve seen her the same way with others. I have checked out other kava bars in the area but always end up back here for the vibe and friendly atmosphere.
The kavatenders are so amazing and get to know you personally so much that you can walk in the door, the greet you by name and already know what drink you are going to order.
They have different events anlmost every night and Bigger events for every holiday, and make you feel like family.
I will end this with you have a great group of kavatenders at your PC location led by an amazing manager who truly takes her career to heart and wants everyone to feel welcomed without having to deal with issues or drama being provoked at your PC location. This is truly a zen place.
