I am another visitor from Canada, and I've eaten at quite a few Asian buffets both back home and abroad. I would say that Joy Luck buffet was among the best, if not the best in terms of food taste and quality. The atmosphere, price, staff and location were also very refreshing to experience. I will in fact be going back for a second visit tomorrow. The staff deserves a pat on the back for all of their efforts. I hope many more people get a chance to visit this establishment!

I have eaten at other Joy Luck locations. This Location is by far the BEST. There were only a few menu items that were not very fresh or inedible.? The Hot and Sour soup needs a bit of adjustment in ingredients or seasoning, but it was okay. The salad bar was fresh. The Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls were delicious. They No Longer waste money on dry cakes and other less than desirable desserts. The Banana pudding is just that, Bananas and pudding - no vanilla wafers, but you COULD add a couple of the Almond cookies if you really like it with cookies? The Ice Cream is simple individual Vanilla, Strawberry or Chocolate cups. IF They take the time to Improve the few items that lack in Flavor and Freshness I will be Happy to give them 5 stars for their food? Overall it was a very good meal. ONE of my Favorite things is the Seastar Bowl with the Buttery Mint Melts.? Thank You for taking Your Time to Read My Review? Have a Great Day!?

Went in for an afternoon meal around 3:30 - 4:00 pm saw container with bits or scraps of chicken liver left in dish. Asked employee if they were going to replace pan with more chicken liver he said they were out of chicken liver ! I’m thinking ok, supper bunch be coming in in couple of hours and they’re saying they’re out of chicken livers !? Noticed food bar was dwindling down for replacement of different food items and not kept full as other buffets do. Food like salads didn’t look fresh. Would Not recommend! Sorry !! ☹️

Visiting from Canada. We seek Asian buffets along the way as we drive from Canada for the vegetables and balanced food. Joy Luck is among the very best. Highly recommend it. We will happily return. Great food, great selection, clean, modern, excellent service and staff. Thanks for the great experience!

First off they have the biggest crawfish in town and shrimp. The make a TAKO poke that is the best i have had since i lived in Hawaii same goes for the mussels. Night time they have all you can eat crab legs for an extra $7 bucks. 2 other places in town charges $60 and $90 JUST FOR CRAB LEGS! JOY LUCK WAS FRESH!!!. YOU CANT FIND THAT ANYWHERE EXCEPT ORLANDO.I see a lot of reviews bitching about the kid eating rule but i understand it. Prices are high and we're lucky to even have buffets anymore. My kids are 9months and 2 year old and they let them eat. They pretty much knaw on a piece of sweet and sour chicken piece.Out of all the buffets that's left in Volusia this is the best. One other is very good i won't mention but of my god the Tako and muscle poke is FIRE.Also they made my wife a spicy tuna roll on request and it was the best she has had in town.I will be eating here weekly. Please don't shut down!

They tried to upcharge my table of 6 an extra 7$ for one person having snowcrabs. Just take it out of the buffet if you are concerned about people sharing. Serve it off the menu only.

I love that the best Chinese buffet I've ever had is in my very own hometown and has a long history in the neighborhood. I've been eating at Joy Luck since they first opened years ago across the street. The new location looks great and the service is still top notch. Simply put, Joy Luck is a clean delicious Chinese buffet style restaurant that doesn't disappoint. Period. Love this place.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Kids friendly food
