Ribs were freshly cooked and perfectly made! We always have enjoy our meals at Malibu grill. Highly recommend them for small or large parties.
The food was absolutely delicious. The service was great as well. Everything came out hot and fresh and was cooked perfectly. Those mushrooms and firecracker shrimp I could make a meal off of just that.
The lunch wraps were delicious. The drinks were unique and excellent. Service was excellent also.
This restaurant deserves more business on a Saturday night, based on ambiance/design, menu variety and pricing, food quality (for the most part) and friendly staff. Server Nick was very nice - drink orders and the food itself seemed to take longer than necessary, given the lower head count of diners. The menu was excellent in terms of choices and pricing. The boneless ribs appetizer in the Specials page was outstanding! Tender, tasty and lots! Adding one Side made it a meal. The fried asparagus was killer good! The snapper “catch of the day” was good not great. Nice size, cooked well but overly firm and a tough skin side. The decor, especially the colorful blown glass wall sconces and bowls, is very appealing. And the relative quiet, while due in part to a low turnout, was nice. The check total for four was pleasing. Give Malibu Grille a look - you'll be pleased.
Six of us dined here last night. 2 who got a pasta dish and 1 who got grouper tacos enjoyed thier meals. My husband ordered the snapper and said it was very tough. Kind of like eating a tough steak. I ordered the ribeye well done with the Oscar topping. Unfortunately my steak was not well done and it did not come with the topping I ordered so I sent it back. I asked them to cook it more, but that apparently did not happen. They simply threw some crab meat on top And if the sauce they threw on there was béarnaise sauce. It was the wateriest sauce I've ever seen in my life. The steak was too rare for me to eat so I ate a few well-done bites around the edge and then packaged it up to take home as I did not want to send it back a second time. One person in our group is gluten-free, although her salmon was good. The vegetables did not come with the cheese as advertised. Overall, the evening was disappointing. I do not think that we will go back.
I had the fish special and key lime pie and it was delicious! My husband had the biggest square of carrot cake I have ever seen, and it was served warm and was delicious!
We have never had a less than positive experience here. The staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is balanced but they tend to favor penne pasta. Nothing really wrong with that because the dishes themselves are delicious. The restaurant has been a stable fixture in Port Orange for years.
The people couldn't have been nicer. The food was well prepared. Everything was warm - hot when it arrived. Our waiter was charming.
Easter out with family was made easy at Malibu Grill. They were able to accommodate a reservation change and increase on party size. They had a standard Easter menu with limited items but still allowed for a teen to order a double portion of the kids menu because she didn't care for the standard Easter menu that was available. The service was great. Kept things coming as requested and a pleasant demeanor.
Excellent location and really tasty food. The service was good but slow. The thing I didnt understand was it was a Friday night, 6:30ish, and the outdoor patio was dead and quiet. Yes no music at all was being played. Its such a beautiful view and has a playground for parents to watch their kids while they relax. I know managers that would love to the outdoor capabilities this place has. Hire a guitarist, made a social media post about it, tell people to come down and celebrate on the patio. I mean come on guys, that patio is like having a Ferrari in the garage but you just drive your Cavalier. Use your assets!

We were vacationing in Daytona Beach Shores and celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We wanted to try a different restaurant that had steaks instead of going to the usual Texas Roadhouse, Outback, etc... Malibu Grill had a decent rating so thought we would try it. They stuck us in the back of the restaurant by where they stack extra chairs even though they knew this was a special occasion for us. The waitress was friendly. We started with the spinach/artichoke dip. It came pretty quickly. However, while eating I had to remove a piece of hard plastic from my mouth. We told our waitress about it. We proceeded to order our dinners. We were celebrating so we both ordered Filet Mignon (which we hardly ever do) baked potato, creamed spinach with one dinner and sautéed spinach on the other. The waitress returned and said they only had one baked potato left. So my husband took a different side. Then the waitress returned and said another waitress had stolen the baked potato for another couple. She said it would be about 40 minutes for another. I was ready to pay for what we had eaten and leave. She hurriedly got a manager. He was not as friendly. I showed him the piece of plastic and he said yeah, that's plastic but don't know how that would have gotten in there, as we make it fresh?! Okay. but it was in there. Yes, my husband hates to see anything wasted so he ate the rest of the dip. Manager made a comment about that. We were not asking for anything, just wanted to let them know about it. He said he would take that off our bill. He said they would try to hurry up the potatoes. My husband said how do you run out of baked potatoes at dinner time? The manager said everybody wants baked potatoes today. We decided to stay. They brought the steaks out with the spinach sides and then half way through I got a baked potato. It just was not the dinner or night I wanted for our anniversary, sadly. Next time go to a steak restaurant!
Nice place for dinner.

Excellent food and cocktails. Fried asparagus, spinach dip, scallops with citrus beurre blanc and the New Orlenes pasta. All delicious!! Ended with a chocolate dessert, amazing. Collin, the bartender is top tier and puts love into his craft. We had a great time visiting from NH! Thank you!

We are Foodies and this was an excellent meal!! We were surprised that a resturantb with "grill" in the name could serve such high end food. We had Bacon Wrapped Scalops for an appetizer. They were good but could have used either lemon or maple syrup to go with them instead of mango salsa. One of us had a Ribeye Oscar medium rare with a side of Asparagus and a side of Asiago mashed potatoes. The other had a filet thermodore medium rare with provolone mushrooms and Asiago mashed potatoes. Everything was outstanding! Even the California Mule and a Harvest Spice Martini. Waitress was outstanding and we highly recommend this resturant! We will be back!!

We both got a salad. I got mine with Mahi. Half the Mahi was so dried out it was hard. The manager did take it off the bill but her comment was when she plated it, she thought it didn't look good. I got a chicken Ceasars salad to go. The waitress came out and someone took the chicken for the salad and they had to remake it. The excuses where strange and the service was just very slow.
