“We had Richey’s tonight for dinner. It was ready very quickly and absolutely delicious! The burgers were amazing, Philly cheese steak the best I’ve ever had, the fries and onion rings cooked perfectly and the house chips with dip was fantastic! Highly recommend! Also - huge portions!”

Their bowls are very generous in portions and there is something for everyone with raw and cooked options for proteins, lots of toppings, sauces and add ons. One visit and you will be hooked!”

“Visiting the area and stopped by last night for the first time for Open Mike Night. We were greeted by friendly faces and a great atmosphere. I said I didn't bring my guitar and one was loaned to me. Heard and met some good musicians and had an enjoyable evening. We will be back!”

“To the person bitching about the bathroom situation at Dagwood’s, (or the lack thereof). In fact it is NOT required to have a public restrooms at a “take-out” restaurant when there is no indoor seating. And, by the way, their prices are more than fair, their food is delicious and consistent, and it is hands down one of the best places to get lunch in Gulf county. Here’s a good idea…go to the bathroom before you go to Dagwood’s, or get your food to go and go home so you have access to a bathroom for the 30-45 minutes it takes you to eat your sandwich. Dagwood’s is the bomb.”

“we emailed Jodi Perez a week ahead of time to make a reservation. we were told that don't make any reservations. but as we set there the night we went we watched people come and sit at reserved tables. they do take reservations just not from common people. but don't worry the good is OK. but it isn't great or even really that good. over cooked pasta and steaks. lack of seasoning. marinara that tastes like it came out of a can. No one at our table finished any of the meals. the bar can't even make a traditional old fashioned. but in a email Jodi Perez said it is his business and he can do what he wants. he is correct. good luck with that.”

“I get breakfast here once a week as a treat to myself and this morning I got cheese grits as I want to try everything they make. These were the best cheese grits I have ever had, full of flavor, so creamy, so warm. Usually I get it to go and eat when I get home I’m sitting in the parking lot as I type this they didn’t even last the drive. And that’s coming from someone who used to not like grits and it’s because where I was getting grits isn’t doing it the way they’re doing it here. Get the grits!”

“Bruno’s is a great local pizza stop! They’re more than just pizza though! Most recently they helped us with a side dish of pasta for our wedding. Danny and his staff went above and beyond to make the process a breeze and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. We received so many compliments on the pasta (and are still hearing them)! Don’t sleep on Bruno’s when looking for a place to eat - their lunch buffet is one of our favorites (and where we first discovered the pasta)!”

Delicious, generous portions and a great atmosphere. Indoor and patio dining available and a bonus perk- the patio is pet friendly.”

“Came in today for breakfast and we met Sam. He is a great guy and made extremely good bacon, egg and cheese bagels for us! The best we have had anywhere! We also bought some banana nut muffins to go and they were fabulous also. Very nice cafe with great choices and excellent customer service by Sam. If you haven't tried it you should. We will definitely be back.”

“Holy smokes. My wife and I try BBQ everywhere we go and this man can cook!! I got the pulled pork and my wife got the pulled chicken both were fantastic great flavor! Also the turnip greens were fantastic would recommend going here! I’ll definitely be going back before we head out!”

“My adult daughter and I stopped by to look for a new wine to try. Katie and Dennis (hope spelling is correct) we’re fantastically welcoming and helpful! Atmosphere was comfortable, inviting, and beach classy. We left with 3 new “discoveries” and the HH is definitely on my list of favorite places.”

“we quit going to Cat five because the food was terrible so when we found out someone else was running it, we went back last night four of us for a family dinner. The price was not bad. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. The only problem we had was that I ordered the special surf and turf, my husband and brother-in-law got the seafood platter and my mother-in-law got the crabcake platter. They had their dinner about 15 minutes before mine ever came out when I did it don’t get me wrong. It was absolutely delicious but the steak and the lobster were cold. I was a little disappointed that they did not give us a discount because it took so long to get my food out and it was cold when I got it , but don’t let my little bad experience stop anyone from going the food was absolutely amazing and delicious. My problem came from the kitchen not from my waitress they said they were trying to get my steak right which is fine but again I had cold lobster tail and cold fillet. I’m just a little disappointed in the managementfor not trying to fix this but we will be going back. I have no other complaints except my family was almost done eating by the time I got my food it’s an awesome restaurant.”

“We are regular diners at this restaurant and we absolutely love everything we've had. Today there was a salmon wellington special. We had the lunch portion with a side Caesar salad. Probably the best meal I've had yet.

Update, we continue to be regular patrons and I would write this as one of our two favorite restaurants in the area.”

“This has become a regular place we always eat at when we are in the area. We usually stay in or around Apalachicola area, but it is well worth the drive over. I always enjoy joy the Grouper Treasue and my wife always enjoys the stuffed mushroom and crab bisque. Always Great Food and service is incredibly fast.”

“Wow. Just wow. Some of the best seafood I’ve had - my Parm Crusted Grouper was better than Eddie V’s in Tampa. Our corn encrusted crab cakes were amazing and the key lime pie decadent. The drinks were well done and our service from Ray (she) was exemplary. The ambience was warm and inviting with live music. A must do when in Port St Joe.”
