“We had a late lunch at Bad Mamma Jamma today while staying at Mexico Beach. I had the Soldier buffalo chicken sandwich and it was to die for… dare I say better than the chicken chain we all love?! Yes! It was a huge piece of chicken cooked just right with amazing sauce and seasoned curly fries. Hubs had Shrimp Tacos and said they were delicious. Thank you! The Webers Alabama”

“We actually ate at Skully’s 2 years ago. And I remember it enough to write a review all this time later. We were in Port St Joe - looking for seafood. Saw good reviews and remarks that just said not your typical place. 1000000% right. First, we had a large party, large enough we had a $200+ order. If you been to Cape San Blas, theres no good place to go for cash, and they didn’t take cards. All we had was a card when we showed up. Without a bat of an eye, the owner said just come back and settle up later. And then proceeds to offer us free beers while we wait for the food, as he sat playing the guitar - enjoying the evening. It is a forever memory I will have of any experience in my life. And upon getting the food back-in my mind I was expecting to find it loaded with the fillers of potatoes, corn etc. Thing was packed full of shrimp and sausage and as someone who has grown up on low country boils, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. If and when I return to the area, Skully’s will get multiple meals from me on the agenda.”

“To the person bitching about the bathroom situation at Dagwood’s, (or the lack thereof). In fact it is NOT required to have a public restrooms at a “take-out” restaurant when there is no indoor seating. And, by the way, their prices are more than fair, their food is delicious and consistent, and it is hands down one of the best places to get lunch in Gulf county. Here’s a good idea…go to the bathroom before you go to Dagwood’s, or get your food to go and go home so you have access to a bathroom for the 30-45 minutes it takes you to eat your sandwich. Dagwood’s is the bomb.”

“Last night was our 2nd time to visit this hidden gem while visiting Mexico Beach, and it was once again an excellent choice! The chicken cordon bleu special was delicious, as was the shrimp scampi, spinach salad, caesar salad & key lime pie! Our server, Anna, was very friendly, personable & attentive. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“Visiting the area and stopped by last night for the first time for Open Mike Night. We were greeted by friendly faces and a great atmosphere. I said I didn't bring my guitar and one was loaned to me. Heard and met some good musicians and had an enjoyable evening. We will be back!”

“I get breakfast here once a week as a treat to myself and this morning I got cheese grits as I want to try everything they make. These were the best cheese grits I have ever had, full of flavor, so creamy, so warm. Usually I get it to go and eat when I get home I’m sitting in the parking lot as I type this they didn’t even last the drive. And that’s coming from someone who used to not like grits and it’s because where I was getting grits isn’t doing it the way they’re doing it here. Get the grits!”

“Bruno’s is a great local pizza stop! They’re more than just pizza though! Most recently they helped us with a side dish of pasta for our wedding. Danny and his staff went above and beyond to make the process a breeze and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. We received so many compliments on the pasta (and are still hearing them)! Don’t sleep on Bruno’s when looking for a place to eat - their lunch buffet is one of our favorites (and where we first discovered the pasta)!”

“This past weekend, a large group of Texans came to Port Saint Joe to have the perfect beach wedding. The bride did her research and selected Bayside bakery for wedding cake preparation as well as mini Keylime pies and beautifully decorated cookies for the rehearsal dinner. All of the items were delicious! The cake was so moist and beautifully decorated to the bride’s specifications. The Keylime pies and cookies were the perfect touch after a steak dinner. We would highly recommend the Bayside bakery for all your sweet treat needs!”

“Don’t sleep on a trip to Joe Mama’s the next time you are in Port St. Joe. I’ve enjoyed brunch there the past two Sundays (so thankful it is back) and let me just say it is top notch. Delicious, generous portions and a great atmosphere. Indoor and patio dining available and a bonus perk- the patio is pet friendly.”

“we emailed Jodi Perez a week ahead of time to make a reservation. we were told that don't make any reservations. but as we set there the night we went we watched people come and sit at reserved tables. they do take reservations just not from common people. but don't worry the good is OK. but it isn't great or even really that good. over cooked pasta and steaks. lack of seasoning. marinara that tastes like it came out of a can. No one at our table finished any of the meals. the bar can't even make a traditional old fashioned. but in a email Jodi Perez said it is his business and he can do what he wants. he is correct. good luck with that.”

“Only disappointment is that this was our 1st time eating here after visiting the Cape for 3 years. We will definitely include a meal or two at Peachy's every year from now on - shrimp and fish tacos were 💯 on point!”

“Came in today for breakfast and we met Sam. He is a great guy and made extremely good bacon, egg and cheese bagels for us! The best we have had anywhere! We also bought some banana nut muffins to go and they were fabulous also. Very nice cafe with great choices and excellent customer service by Sam. If you haven't tried it you should. We will definitely be back.”

“My adult daughter and I stopped by to look for a new wine to try. Katie and Dennis (hope spelling is correct) we’re fantastically welcoming and helpful! Atmosphere was comfortable, inviting, and beach classy. We left with 3 new “discoveries” and the HH is definitely on my list of favorite places.”

“Holy smokes. My wife and I try BBQ everywhere we go and this man can cook!! I got the pulled pork and my wife got the pulled chicken both were fantastic great flavor! Also the turnip greens were fantastic would recommend going here! I’ll definitely be going back before we head out!”

“we quit going to Cat five because the food was terrible so when we found out someone else was running it, we went back last night four of us for a family dinner. The price was not bad. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. The only problem we had was that I ordered the special surf and turf, my husband and brother-in-law got the seafood platter and my mother-in-law got the crabcake platter. They had their dinner about 15 minutes before mine ever came out when I did it don’t get me wrong. It was absolutely delicious but the steak and the lobster were cold. I was a little disappointed that they did not give us a discount because it took so long to get my food out and it was cold when I got it , but don’t let my little bad experience stop anyone from going the food was absolutely amazing and delicious. My problem came from the kitchen not from my waitress they said they were trying to get my steak right which is fine but again I had cold lobster tail and cold fillet. I’m just a little disappointed in the managementfor not trying to fix this but we will be going back. I have no other complaints except my family was almost done eating by the time I got my food it’s an awesome restaurant.”

“The Joe Coffee Shop takes enjoying Coffee to a whole new level, Frist class. The new Flavors are always something I love to try and they are amazing. Service, staff and the owners are some of the very best you will ever find. Give them a try and you will see what I mean. The cool atmosphere is very creative and you can tell, a lot of thought went into it.”

“If we could leave more stars than 5 we would! This was without a doubt the best authentic Italian food we have eaten in years and my wife is Italian so this is huge. To start, the complimentary bread and olive oil was so fresh and hot. The salads were crisp and full of all kinds of toppings. We had the chicken Parmesan (without cheese for dietary reasons) and the Gnocchi with chicken, garlic and herbs. The gnocchi were so delicious and homemade. They tasted like light fresh little pillows, literally the best my wife has ever had. The chicken parm with spaghetti was phenomenal! Our service by Tawnee was perfect. She even brought the chef out for us to tell her how great her food was. We are in town a few more weeks and can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for such an incredible meal.

“Wow. Just wow. Some of the best seafood I’ve had - my Parm Crusted Grouper was better than Eddie V’s in Tampa. Our corn encrusted crab cakes were amazing and the key lime pie decadent. The drinks were well done and our service from Ray (she) was exemplary. The ambience was warm and inviting with live music. A must do when in Port St Joe.”
