“Recommending allll of it. This is our third year visiting the area and likewise eating at Richey’s. We’ve done Jammed Up Heifer and Hono-Moo Moo burgers every time. Basically if we’re an hour or so away we will be stopping by. It’s the best. We’ve looked forward to this all summer again!”

“To the person bitching about the bathroom situation at Dagwood’s, (or the lack thereof). In fact it is NOT required to have a public restrooms at a “take-out” restaurant when there is no indoor seating. And, by the way, their prices are more than fair, their food is delicious and consistent, and it is hands down one of the best places to get lunch in Gulf county. Here’s a good idea…go to the bathroom before you go to Dagwood’s, or get your food to go and go home so you have access to a bathroom for the 30-45 minutes it takes you to eat your sandwich. Dagwood’s is the bomb.”

“Came in today for breakfast and we met Sam. He is a great guy and made extremely good bacon, egg and cheese bagels for us! The best we have had anywhere! We also bought some banana nut muffins to go and they were fabulous also. Very nice cafe with great choices and excellent customer service by Sam. If you haven't tried it you should. We will definitely be back.”

“Visiting the area and stopped by last night for the first time for Open Mike Night. We were greeted by friendly faces and a great atmosphere. I said I didn't bring my guitar and one was loaned to me. Heard and met some good musicians and had an enjoyable evening. We will be back!”

“We are on our first trip to Mexico Beach and ventured to St. Joe. We drove past and I decided to run in and grab a few desserts for our anniversary, the ultimate or loaded brownie I can’t remember the name, but it was absolutely fantastic not too sweet but so rich with flavor. My favorite dessert is Key lime pie, I snagged a couple of the minis and oh my goodness that is one of the smoothest pie I have ever had! Would 1000% recommend anyone grabbing some desserts!”

“10/10! We’re vacationing in SGI and drove 45 Minutes just for these donuts. I stopped by alone earlier in the week but only managed to grab a blueberry cake donut, as everything else was sold out. This donut wouldn’t have been my first choice but it was so insanely delicious that I immediately texted my husband to tell him we had to come back to get more later in the week. We aren’t super early risers so we ordered ahead and picked them up. SO GOOD!”

“we quit going to Cat five because the food was terrible so when we found out someone else was running it, we went back last night four of us for a family dinner. The price was not bad. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. The only problem we had was that I ordered the special surf and turf, my husband and brother-in-law got the seafood platter and my mother-in-law got the crabcake platter. They had their dinner about 15 minutes before mine ever came out when I did it don’t get me wrong. It was absolutely delicious but the steak and the lobster were cold. I was a little disappointed that they did not give us a discount because it took so long to get my food out and it was cold when I got it , but don’t let my little bad experience stop anyone from going the food was absolutely amazing and delicious. My problem came from the kitchen not from my waitress they said they were trying to get my steak right which is fine but again I had cold lobster tail and cold fillet. I’m just a little disappointed in the managementfor not trying to fix this but we will be going back. I have no other complaints except my family was almost done eating by the time I got my food it’s an awesome restaurant.”

“Bruno’s is a great local pizza stop! They’re more than just pizza though! Most recently they helped us with a side dish of pasta for our wedding. Danny and his staff went above and beyond to make the process a breeze and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. We received so many compliments on the pasta (and are still hearing them)! Don’t sleep on Bruno’s when looking for a place to eat - their lunch buffet is one of our favorites (and where we first discovered the pasta)!”

“we emailed Jodi Perez a week ahead of time to make a reservation. we were told that don't make any reservations. but as we set there the night we went we watched people come and sit at reserved tables. they do take reservations just not from common people. but don't worry the good is OK. but it isn't great or even really that good. over cooked pasta and steaks. lack of seasoning. marinara that tastes like it came out of a can. No one at our table finished any of the meals. the bar can't even make a traditional old fashioned. but in a email Jodi Perez said it is his business and he can do what he wants. he is correct. good luck with that.”

“Very casual and forthright. We stopped on a whim while passing by. Simply the BEST grouper sandwich ! Highly recommended!!! The mango mahi tacos were positively delicious. Both our meals were oversized- we were quite pleased. If you are more into great food than beachside ambience, you won’t be disappointed.”

“My adult daughter and I stopped by to look for a new wine to try. Katie and Dennis (hope spelling is correct) we’re fantastically welcoming and helpful! Atmosphere was comfortable, inviting, and beach classy. We left with 3 new “discoveries” and the HH is definitely on my list of favorite places.”

“This has become a regular place we always eat at when we are in the area. We usually stay in or around Apalachicola area, but it is well worth the drive over. I always enjoy joy the Grouper Treasue and my wife always enjoys the stuffed mushroom and crab bisque. Always Great Food and service is incredibly fast.”

“The Service was Slow! The Food sucked and Was Too Pricey For The Portions you get! Not only That But Apparently You cant do individual checks. There was 5 of us and Apparently 4 checks was too hard to do. Then on top of that charged gratuity for 5 of us. they counted a 2 year old as 6th person for gratuity. One Check had 15 % added and one had 20% added. Don't Recommend!”

“We have eaten here twice and thought it was great both times. I got the Beef in Garlic Sauce, and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and very tasty. Vegetables were fresh and cooked just right. We also had the fried pork dumplings and thought they were very good, especially the sauce that came with them. Would definitely recommend!”

“My family and I went there, Labor Day. Of course if you go anywhere during a holiday, you know you have to wait. But it did not take long for our waitress to come take our orders and deliver in an ample amount of time. I had the scallop basket which was way more than I could eat. My wife enjoyed a salad and along with my son fish tacos. We will definitely be going back.”
