What a disappointment. We went for lunch My wife only ordered the appetizer of crab legs (supposedly 1.lb). I ordered the fried grouper. The total bill was over $75, which of course is absolutely ridiculous. The crab legs were so incredibly small there was literally no meat inside them. We cracked them all first and dug out every morsel of the meat. It was TWO bites (literally). Those 2 bites of crab legs cost over $37....lol. The fried grouper was good but for another $36-$37 for lunch - that's pretty ridiculous too. We eat every week at Red Lobster and we both order meals. She gets scampi and broccoli and I get blackened flounder with baked potato. Of course you also get the basket of Red Lobster biscuits. The Red Lobster meal is exponentially better and the price for both meals is $24.59 total..Yes, we can eat 2 meals at Red Lobster THREE (3) times for the same price we paid for one appetizer and a lunch meal at Hunts. Then with flies around our table, the atmosphere was worse at Hunts too. We went back for lunch today because the waiting line for dinner last night was 2 1/2 hours!!! Luckily I didn't waste my time waiting that long. That truly would have been upsetting. For the area, I guess that is normal..Although we did eat a much better meal at Mango Marley's for less money. Oh yeah, after the tip (because it wasn't the waitress fault there was no meat in the crab legs nor that the food is exorbitantly overpriced) - we basically had a $100 LUNCH of one appetizer and one meal. Maybe I should have given only one star, but the fried grouper was cooked correctly.

Hunts was great! Go early (like 4:30p) or expect a 1.5-2.5 hr wait. Oysters were good. View was great. Would recommend!

The atmosphere and food are great! We had a longer wait than quoted, but got a call from the owner himself offering four bar seats to us to make up for it. He greeted us, told us what caused the extended waits, and handed us off to the very friendly bartenders. The oysters were fresh and local, and the other seafood was fried to perfection. Even though the wait was long, they had live music and a cash bar so my wife and I didn’t mind at all, but my kids were starting to fall apart. The great food and outgoing owner earned this place 5 stars.

No better place currently in the CSB / PSJ area. Try everything. I cant say any bad things. Eat outside, if possible!!!

In Port St Joe, this unpretentious eatery has good food. They serve seafood and non-seafood items.

It was a busy time while we were there. The food was good. Had steamed shrimp and fried seafood sampler. No complaints. They were doing their best to get people in and out. Definitely will eat there again.

Best restaurant around. I had a family of 12. At 4:45 on a Friday there was a 50 minute wait. Plan accordingly

We have had many good experiences at Hunt’s, but tonight was different. We had a 2 hour wait which was expected so, we went to the restaurant bar to get some drinks (teas). My sister paid $18 for some bad tea. When we got our seats, we ordered what we thought was a refill. When the check came, we were charged again for the drinks. We asked to speak to the manager! He was the rudest person must less a MANAGER. He tried to explain to us that it was 2 separate transactions. It wasn’t actually 2 separate transactions because we had purchased the original drinks in the restaurant not the bar downstairs. When we told him that we had done the same thing last year, he said I wish I knew who did that last year. He said he would have gotten on to them. Never have I had a manager just not agree to remove the drinks seeing as we had the receipt. He asked us, “ Are we going to make a big deal about tea?” Of course, we said, “Why are you?” At that point, I got angry because he was so condescending. I have never had a manager talk to me like that. As he walked off, he made an irritated sigh. So rude. When we first got the ticket, the gratuity wasn’t added. When he took our money, he took the liberty of adding the 18% gratuity, like we wouldn’t add a tip .
