Hunt's on St Joe Bay

This new location is as delicious as the original location! All of the food was spot on, and we barely had a wait for a table of7. Packs out quick, but there’s lots of stuff to keep you entertained while waiting like live music, and walking the docks on the bay! Ms. SJ went above and beyond for our table, and as a former fine dining server I could clearly see the dedication she starts and ends her day with! We can’t wait to come back to this hidden gem!

We just had my son’s wedding rehearsal here this evening. It was fabulous! I spent some time planning the event with Paula, the manager, weeks ahead. She was so kind, helpful and quick to respond. They had the tables set up with fresh flowers and a beautiful view when we arrived. Our 2 waitresses, Shannon and Bit, were incredibly friendly and quick to get drinks as everyone trickled in. Next came an assortment of appetizers promptly delivered to each table. The meals were Grilled Mahi, Fried Shrimp or Chicken Tenders with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. All the guests raved about how delicious everything tasted and the wonderful service. Delicious food, great manager and fantastic waitresses. 10/10 recommend!

Better than Panama City's Hunt's.
Lovely servers. Cook does it perfect every time! Fast!!! But excellent! All is great on the menu!!! We love the seafood platter. Big enough to share!! We get a salad with it! They are fresh!!!! Eat there two or three time's a month! Beautiful Bay to look at!
Boats, birds and the mullet jumping!!!

Fantastic hospitality, food, and view from the upstairs balcony where we ate!

Was a very nice meal! Have been here before and it was as good as always. Had a very friendly and attentive server (Lisa). Fried shrimp meal was probably the best we'd had in Port St. Joe. Will definitely be going back again when we're in the area!

The food was so good we had to go back the next day. My wife usually gets broiled seafood because fried is usually too greasy and the breading too heavy. But, she had some of my fried grouper the first night and loved it.

The food was ok, but I expected a bit higher quality at this price point. Great views of the bay.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spots are on a concrete pad. The rest are gravel/sand.

Shrimp and oyster platter, oysters were over cooked and cold, there was very little oyster left to eat. Grilled shrimp and scallops horrible blackened and no taste. Scallops bay scallops were mushy. Grits were not cooked and watery. For what we paid this was very disappointing. Will not return. There are better places to eat in port st Joe. Stay away 😬

My husband and I loved visiting Hunt's! The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly and personable, and made us feel right at home. I had the Mahi Mahi, my husband had the Grouper. Both dishes were delicious. I also love their fries. They even gave us three sample oysters to try, as we had never had them. This is a "must stop" if you are in the area. We will definitely be a return customer.
