We’ve been coming to this bar for karaoke night every year for the past four years. This time, one of our group members who had already been served three drinks was suddenly re-ID’d by the owner. Despite her ID being 100% valid, the owner claimed it was “very fake” and passed it around not just to bartenders but also random customers to “get their opinion.”
Not only was this humiliating, it was a serious invasion of privacy her name, age, and full address were shared with strangers in a public setting. In a place where we already had someone creeping on our group, this felt completely unsafe.
This kind of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. We won’t be coming back and we don’t recommend supporting a business that treats guests this way.

Not id'd at the start and when a 26 y/o lady in our group who was causing no trouble except going back for another drink, she was told her real Michigan id was fake. She was kicked out, and we left as a group, after the 5 minutes it took them to locate my debit card. Can't sing that karaoke song I was on deck for since they don't know how to read or keep up with their stuff.
