Skully’s Low Country Boil

This place is the epitome of backwoods Florida good times. Nothing fancy or professional… just working class dudes making amazing gumbo and shrimp boils. Southern hospitality at its finest. No expectations of patrons. Just come enjoy some great food and great conversation. The young man jamming on the front porch was a true gentlemen and a pleasure to talk with. I will keep coming back to Skully’s every single time I’m visiting. The experience of visiting Skully’s has been a highlight of my trip to the Cape.

I don't even like shrimp and I ate my weight!🤣 Forgot my gumbo and they even offered to drive it out to my place in Indian Pass. Worth the drive back! Gumbo was delicious! Real nice people!

Our family trip of 12 stopped and got 2 large buckets and had plenty of food. The buckets were absolutely FULL of shrimp. They definitely didn't skimp out. We love this place and stop here every year.

This is definitely a hidden gem. It’s a deceiving little shack with amazing food. The guy working was a jack of all trades and picked up his guitar and I could have sat for hours listening to him sing and play. I wish we had discovered this earlier in our trip. Prices were very reasonable and the gumbo was to die for.

Been waiting 2 years to come back and get his Shrimp boil and he did not disappoint!! The gumbo was amazing I want more. Really need this in Tn!!!

We had the extraordinary experience of enjoying the most succulent low country boil and gumbo at SKULLY’S for the first time today!!! We’ve been planning to visit this legendary establishment for a very long time and trust us, IT DIDN’T DISAPPOINT. Our boil was on point: huge fresh shrimp (it doesn’t get fresher than this), sausage, perfectly boiled potatoes and corn cobs, all deliciously seasoned, just the perfect kick… it was perfection in our mouths!!! We were starving and had the three people bowl. The portions were enormous and so generous, more than enough for three hungry adults and we had leftovers. The owner is the friendliest guy you’ll find in the entire Cape San Blas and he treated my veteran 90 year old Dad with a whole order of complimentary crab legs to thank him for his service… We were blown away!!! He sings and plays the guitar so we enjoyed the music, the incredible seafood (sodas and beer included with the meal), and the most amazing company. If you’re at the Cape, YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE SKULLY’S. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, we’ll be back!!!

Always the first stop when visiting the cape. Good food, cash only, drink a beer while waiting. Picnic tables but take it back to the house.

Wow!! The best shrimp we’ve ever had! The seasoning they use is amazing and everything was cooked to perfection! We really enjoyed eating dinner outside at the picnic tables while listening to live music too. They only take cash so make sure you have some! I highly recommend giving this place a try, you won’t regret it!!

Being from South Carolina I’ve had a lot of low country boils and skully’s was delicious and plentiful! Cash is king here and grab you a natty light from the cooler, you will not be disappointed!
