The BrickWall Sports Bar & Grille

My food was great! I ordered the shrimp Po' Boy with a side of sauce because its served with pickles, lettuce, tomato and onion...but no sauce. My husband ordered the grouper This was the special of the day and it was a very large, thick piece of fish served wsith 2 sides of your choice...which also included premium sides. The hushpuppies are very good! Our server was a little slow and drinks weren't refilled without asking, but she was nice and knowledgeable when our party of 4 asked questions about their menu.

The food was delicious, thankfully it came out hot. Our service was basic. The tables with the same server appeared to receive more attention than we got. I noticed that those tables had bigger parties and had alcohol, so perhaps we weren't a concern. It was disappointing, because I didn't even know our server's name until I got the receipt. There was live music which is okay if you like that kind of thing.

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Hawaii 5-0. Grilled chicken, grilled pineapple and onions, bacon and Swiss cheese. In town visiting or I'd be here once a week! Kudos!

Our family of 4 had a great late night dinner. We didn’t get there until 9pm and were able to be seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Our food came out quickly and everything we ordered was delicious! They are huge portions too. We’ll definitely be back.

We ate at the Brick Wall 3 times this week and each time the food and service was excellent! Our server Max was a superstar who served us two times. He was the best server we have ever had. Friendly, professional and Johnny-on-the-Spot! We never had to wait on anything at our table on either visit. Live entertainment was a big plus!

My experience with Brick Wall in Port St. Joe was extremely disappointing—not just because of what happened after the meal, but because of how the restaurant responded.

I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich, and about 4–5 hours later I became violently ill. I spent the entire night vomiting multiple times and was sick well into the next day. While I can't state with absolute certainty that the sandwich caused my illness, the timing and circumstances made it a serious concern.

My wife left a review simply sharing our experience. Instead of expressing any concern or empathy that a customer had become seriously ill, the restaurant immediately demanded that we prove my illness came from their food. They then accused us of posting the review to slander their business. To make matters worse, they condescendingly included a link to a law firm's website suggesting that people can be sued over negative reviews. Rather than addressing a customer's concerns professionally, their response came across as defensive and intimidating.

I understand that restaurants have a right to defend themselves, and no one can say with certainty what caused an illness without an investigation. However, I expected at least some compassion and a willingness to take the concern seriously. Instead, we were met with accusations and what felt like an attempt to discourage honest customer feedback.

Based on both the illness I experienced and the way our concerns were handled afterward, I won't be returning.

Majority of our party didn't feel good after we had dinner here, myself included. My husband got food poisoning from the grouper...he was sick for hours.

We have ate here several times. The food is always great.

May be a little bit of a wait at times (take advantage of the cute shops around the area🤌🏻), but otherwise, it's our go to when coming to Cape San Blas and awaiting for our house to be ready! This is usually our first stop when coming to the beach each year! Everyone is always satisfied with their appetizers and meals. Highly recommend!

Hamburger were good, nothing extraordinary.....but they charge me 0.50 for ice cup😒... sweet tea and sprite mix extra charge as well

The food and the service was great! We were there on Father's day which was a very busy day for most restaurants but the BrickWall came through with flying colors. Thanks for making great memories with the family!!
