“Had a coworker recommend this place, and in so glad he did! Finally found a place that serves a Midwest style pizza. Sorry no pic as I ate it all before posting this review. Crust is flavorful and crispy without being dry, sauce , cheese, pepperoni and spices were delicious and made for a very well balanced pie. Thanks Leo! I'll be back”

“Decided to try Kelsey's after a long while, and after the recently-new mgmt and spotty reviews. We were warmly greeted at the door, looked at the menu - noticing neither offerings nor prices had changed (good) and sat down. Service was very attentive and the portions were as large as we remembered. The only difference we noticed is the marinara sauce: sweeter and more bland - important to us and cost a star for food in this review. The meat sauce was better, though it too could have used a little more complexity. Otherwise, the mini Greek salad was huge as always, and the spaghetti and meatballs dinner was tasty and large with a substantial take-home portion. They also still have the $5 hurricane drinks, though I didn't buy one this time. Before tip our bill was under $20 - rare these days for eating out anywhere.”

“My family and I went in for a late dinner and the place was very clean and we were greeted by super sweet lady with red hair (I wish I had gotten her name). When we were ordering the employee was super kind to my 5 yr old and made her feel special just building her own sandwich. The employee was just super sweet over all and it made my day just by how kind she was to us.”

“Nice clean restaurant great for when you want a half cut tea they serve a half-cut tea that is way better than Sonny's tea I hate to say that but it's truth. Also I always would recommend getting no salt with fries because if you do that they give you fresh fries and you can just add your own sea salt at home or salt if you're eating inside. The burgers are nothing special but I love their chicken nuggets.

But if you're ever in Melbourne I recommend you try burger place it is the best burger restaurant I've ever had in my opinion little on the pricey side.”

“We enjoyed the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet there yesterday. This is an attractive, beautifully appointed restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. (No flat screen TVs at all! Bravo!) We have eaten at many Indian restaurants in different states serving a lunch buffet for a flat price. This is among the best we've tried. Yesterday they served papadams, a fresh, mixed greens salad (prepared more like a slaw), fluffy white rice, a veggie fritter, green beans with coconut, cream-style mixed vegetable dish, tandoori chicken, butter chicken (tomato cream sauce), and a thin noodle & cashew dessert. Plain, buttered naan is included with the meal an we each had a sweet lassi. The staff was friendly and attentive; all dishes were expertly prepared, fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. The price was reasonable for the quality of food. We'd go back.”

“We were there on a Sunday afternoon. Cube steak over rice. The meat was so tender, the gravy amazing, the rice perfection. One of my sides was carrot souffle. OMG!!!!! This was heaven on earth. The best part of our meal was Mrs. B. She was so sweet. Helpful and full of personality. We will be back for the food and Mrs. B!!!!!”

“June 9, 2024 6:45pm arrival To start with the background of tonight's experience there were 3 us tonight for dinner. I'm a server at a locally, my sister's been in hospitality management/sales, and our wonderful mother has spent upwards of 50+ years in hospitality/service (sorry mom!) Our server Michael started by taking our order without a pen & paper or tablet within sight. Starting with my sister first, my mother then myself he had forgotten my sisters order by the time he got done with mine. My sister and myself ordered honey-vanilla margarita's before the food and while tasty they had very little alcohol. Typically I'll order one drink and 2 if I'm feeling extra spicy. I ordered a second drink with my food which sat on the bar for over 8 minutes (I should have gotten it myself but as a server i would never do that to MY server)before I stopped looking at the clock. My sister had a chimichanga which was okay while being nothing impressive. My mother ordered a burrito with double black beans which the second order of beans did not arrive with the food, and lastly myself which ordered a mojara with the fish being over fried almost to the point of a dirty/burnt taste. While the food preparation was not our server's fault his inattentiveness was because my salad that I ordered with honey mustard never came until I asked for it TWICE along with my second drink that spent over 8 minutes wasting away in front of me on the bar counter, along with Michael forgetting not once or twice, but THREE entire times to get my mother's second half of her double black beans. He took checks and cashed out 2 tables before having any approach to fixing our issues which ultimately made the entire atmsphere uncomfortable as we watched him take care of guest who had been finished eating. we watched our food get cold(or not delivered at all). Poor Michael was visibly shook and refused to come check on us once we finally received everything to make sure everything was okay. My sister sat parched without another delicious margarita for over 10 minutes before she decided she would do without. I had to get our server's attention for the check, a box for the cats to enjoy, and to speak the manager regarding our concerns. With the nicest tone possible I explained to the manager about the waiter not writing anything down, the complete lack attention to our food which half of was wrong, the server never coming back so I couldn't get the correct dressing. she didnt seem too concerned but offered nothing in compensation, no dessert was offered by staff or management at the end of our meal. I told the server what I said to the management on my way out and he raised his voice to the point of yelling/stuttering at me saying he needed to explain himself, which I promptly cut him off saying he should listen instead because I'm trying to help him. I hate to write this but I was planning on leaving $50 on a $100 tab and our service just wasnt deserving of such. I left $10 to cover the bar and busser which he didn't deserve but I can't conciously make my server tip out from their own pocket. I really should have asked for the bar tender, food runner and busser's attention to tip them myself but after being yelled at for voicing my concern it was best that I just left. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use this as training reference to make your business better one employee at a time, from server, management and beyond. As a guest who is on the service side 5-7 days a week I just felt as if nothing was done about the situation and I left with utter dissatisfaction. Understandably things happen but from the beginning of forgetting my sister's order, my salad arriving with the wrong dressing, watching my drink die on the bar as he passed it 5x, not bringing everything as ordered, and to top it off watching credit cards being ran instead of fixing our situation was the icing on the cake. A simple gesture of taking that salad off, a free drink or dessert would have made all the difference from ”

“Cajun Soul Bistro & Bar 333 King Street Cocoa, FL 32922 5 Star ***New Brevard County Number 1*** When Lady Luck smiles upon you, your life is bright and shiny. Well, I have to say she was beaming at me on Sunday. Cajun Soul Bistro & Bar came up in my random name generator, which happens to be Soul Food Sunday here. Let's just say we've got a new number 1 in the county. This place has been open for about a year and a half, according to my EIC. I had him call to get their back story. While neither Kenya nor Lance were on site, he did speak with Mika. Mika said she had been with Kenya forever, going back to the food truck days. They still have a food truck and use it to cater events and such. Kenya, from Georgia, brings the Soul and Flavor to the menu, while Lance, from Louisiana, adds the Cajun and Heat. Only in America! In the words of Yakov Smirnoff, “What a country!” Manny was my waiter today and he was adequate. He performed his duty with professionalism and slightly above average competency. I asked Manny for some Buttermilk Fried Chicken, one Chitterlings Dinner, a Meatloaf Dinner and some Banana Pudding to round out my incursion into Cajun Soul Bistro & Bar's menu. The day chef was on top of his game as not only was our food out in no time, but take a peep at those pics! The food was plated with care, made with love and served with a goodly portion. Not what it would have been 5 years ago, but bigger than your average “shrinkflation” serving you get these days. I eagerly wrapped my mits around a piece of fried fowl and ripped off a nice-sized chunk. The chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful, while the batter was obviously applied by hand and just as succulent as the meat. How did they do this? The chicken is marinated in a Buttermilk brine. Yes, you read that right. A Buttermilk brine. Day-um, Kenya! Brilliant!! My chosen sides of Mac & Cheese, Corn bread and Butter beans were on par with the Chicken. The whole thing was a dance of joy on the palate and I was in Southern Heaven. Forcing myself to move on, I took a cautious taste of the Chitterlings Dinner. I always order this when given the opportunity in a place that serves Soul Food, as it is a disgusting food item and MUST be prepared properly even to be edible, let alone scrumptious. Today, 40 years after my first taste of this Soul Food staple, I found the embodiment of Chitin perfection. Holy Wilbur, Charlotte! I done died and went to Soul Food Heaven. Un. Real. Once again, I had to force myself to move on as I had a job to do and if I didn't stop “sampling” the chitlins I wouldn't have room for the Meatloaf and Nana’ Pudding. Speaking of the Meatloaf, one bite in and I was in love. It was dense in texture and complex in flavor. The side of Cajun Yams were banging. These were also the BEST collard greens I've ever had. The Candied yams were flawless and the Banana Pudding so freakin' addictive I wanted to buy the whole tray and take it home. The Big Boy says, “ When the worst thing you can say about a place is that they have above average (not spectacular) service, you have a grand slam home run and we have a new Brevard County Number One. Go. Go now.””

“So cute, friendly little spot run by cat lovers, what’s not to like? Iced German chocolate latte was fantastic. Blackberry refresher tasted way better than most refreshers you can get at a chain. Nice little selection of pastries snacks and local goods. I will be back!”
