15 Best Ice Cream Shops near Port Saint John

“I have been coming to Scoops for the last couple of years. My visits have always been positive. Today when I went in, I ordered my usual favorite but the gal behind the counter gave me a hard time about my order. Apparently she considered what I ordered to be a sundae. Technically, I could see that being the correct name for it but I only wanted a single scoop and their sundaes come with two scoops or more. In all of the time that I have visited, not once has anyone questioned the way I have ordered. She told me that ringing it up in the register the way I wanted it would be more expensive than buying a two scoop sundae. Then she proceeded to sell me the higher priced ice cream. Why wouldn’t she just charge me for the lower priced version and omit the extra scoop? I think maybe she would do better behind the scenes and not as the front person for the business. I just wonder if they have been charging me the higher price the last couple of years. Hmmmm“

“This place is so much fun and even though it's pretty far for us our 6 year old always requests to make the trip and always so glad we do. “This place has AMAZING ice cream. Fell in love the first time I tried it. My all time favorite is the Fat Elvis!! I ordered a Fat Elvis milk shake and my mind was blown! While it might be slightly pricey, consider that friendly atmosphere, that hometown feel, that personal touch from the workers and that made to order perfection, it's down right worth every penny! “Parkway Creamery for the win. They have the absolute BEST Dole whip softserve. Sooooooo good. So far we have not met a flavor we didnt like. Pictured is the pineapple and peach, soooooo good. The First pic of the double cones is today. We originally loved the orange dole with vanilla for the classic creamsicle. Then we decided that kinda defeats the purpose of trying to make a healthier choice so we twist it with the pineapple and loved it. Then we thought we loved it with strawberry. Then all summer long it was pineapple and mango and we were like, this is it and then they came out with pineapple and the peach. So now all we know is they are ALL our favorite and we are always dreading the next flavor in fear we may not like it, however that has not happened yet. Also, we try dole everywhere we go. Some places it is more icee like, like it needs to be a frozen mixed drink or something. Parkway creamery, is just that, sooooo lite and creamy and just deeeeeelicious. We had to stop by to wish Ruth (one of our favorite peeps there) good luck on her journey. She is sooooo sweet and one of the nicest, kind, friendly employee. Her and her brother Brennen (I believe I may have misspelled it) were working and made us these 2 beauties. Great peeps. If you are a dole lover like us THIS is the place. Highly recommend this family run establishemt.“

“Chippies: Coco/Port Saint John Dreamy Destination for Boba & FroYo! Absolutely obsessed with Chippies Boba Tea & Frozen Yogurt! This place quickly became my go-to spot for a delightful treats. Their boba tea selection is incredible! The flavors are bursting with freshness, and the tapioca pearls have that perfect chewy texture. Whether you're a classic milk tea fan or looking for something adventurous, Chippies has something for everyone. I personally loved the Golden Elixir, it was so refreshing and perfectly balanced. The frozen yogurt is just as amazing! The tartness hits all the right notes, and the toppings selection is fantastic. They do not weigh the frozen yogurt! Plus, they have sugar-free options, which is a major win for me! The staff at Chippies is top-notch! Super friendly and helpful, they made my whole experience enjoyable. They were happy to answer questions and offer suggestions based on my preferences. Chippies is a true gem in Cocoa/PSJ! The owner and his 2 kids who work there have always been so friendly and kind. And it has not taken long at all to get our food after ordering. This is our new favorite spot!“

“My family of 6 visited on April 1, about an hour before the Artemis launch and they were super busy. Thr staff was friendly and quick. There was a constant line for thr bathrooms and they needed attention, two staff members stopped away to quickly refill and mop the floor.
Ice cream was delicious! Get a waffle cone, they are made right in front of you.“

“I get the same thing every time I come here, the brown sugar and tapioca boba tea. I might try a new flavor in the future, but I love my good old reliable. They also have some adorable treats and desserts here, my husband loves the ice cream. I hope this place sticks around for a long time, I gotta have my boba!! 🧋“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This coffee shop has all the ingredients for a perfect recipe. First, the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting … with local artists highlighted. Their bathroom has a baby changing table, their back room has a child’s table and basket of books … they have a “free mug exchange” program … and a rewards program (free drinks!). Did I mention how clean the shop is?!?! Next, every single person who works there (inclusive of course of the owner) are always personable, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable - whether to assist a customer to figure out “that perfect drink match” or to tweak a drink or simply to help make the day happier … they are always on point. Every. Single. Person. Finally, they make many of their syrups homemade (yum!!!) … they make their own popsicles … they sell locally owned bakery items (inclusive of gluten free) … their options are incredibly delicious across the board. I first came here during COVID on the way home from the hospital having my first child. Now, more than 4 years later, I am a 5-6 day a week customer … their lattes and bagels are the best! Special shout out to Hannah who literally notices and asks when I have missed being there a day or more … and who always remembers and uses my name. But honestly, I adore every single barista there … they remember my favorite drink no matter the season … they care … they laugh and have fun … they create this amazing little shop.
