The real standout was the diri djon djon: rich, earthy, and cooked perfectly, easily the star of the plate. The plantains were done right too a great complement to the meal. Overall, even with the griot being a little over, the flavors carried the dish and made it a solid, enjoyable experience.“

“Went for lunch today. I had the legume, and my dining companion had the chicken. The staff was friendly, and we got a lot of food for the money. I asked for the pikliz at least three times, but I never got any. This was disappointing, because I really like pikliz. I suppose if I had ordered the griot, it just would have come as part of the meal. I made it clear I would have paid extra, but alas, no pikliz for me. I gave this four stars because the food we did get was really good. To be honest, we could have made two meals out of each serving. Next time I go, I'll definitely order the griot just so I can try the pikliz. You definitely will not leave here hungry, and the food quality was on point.“

““Alabon!” is Creole for “God! It’s good!” And whether or not you speak the language that food IS very good! My whole family enjoys the meals day in day out. I never ate any dish in that restaurant that was not delightful. The patties are definitely the best in town. A great eating experience by all accounts.“
