“I have been eating at La Granja for over 20 years at this point, at nearly every location between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Since then, the 1/4 chicken rice and beans lunch special has went from 2.50 to 7.95, but even still it's a good deal.
My only complaint is that the onion bar is always nearly empty in the morning, meaning they probably put out the old ones from the night before. Not a huge deal, but it also means I often need to scrape the bottom of the pan to get anything, and they never have more made when I ask. Other locations usually toss the onions out the night before if they are too low and make a fresh batch in the morning, but not this location for some reason.“

“This place is an absolute gem, I'm always a fan of trying to find somewhere interesting to eat whenever I end up wandering around.
My job takes me a lot of places.
So I was recommended this one by the lady at the front desk of the hotel across the street from it, and I am ever so grateful. I got the half chicken with yucca fries and those plantain patties that I cannot help to appropriately pronounce or spell. They were magical.
Price point is surprisingly low for the volume of food and quality as well, place was understandably busy, and the aroma you can smell from a good bit away and for the best of reasons. Dining room is a touch crowded, keep your ears open as the staff will announce numbers in both Spanish and English.“

“The chile rellenos are great just like my grandma use to make them. The cena I got was not as filling but maybe just chose the wrong thing. They look like they have great options. Also ordered the arrroz con leche which was good but maybe add a little more cinnamon. Don't be fooled by the restaurant next door called quetzal something. they are not guatemalan!Wish they were in Cape coral , Fl“
