“During our recent visit to the Waffle House in Punta Gorda, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, while my fiancé opted for two eggs, grits, and toast. Both dishes were served promptly and prepared to perfection, resulting in a very satisfying meal. The only suggestion is to put a little less butter on the grits. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very good, however the bathrooms, while generally clean, could benefit from a more thorough cleaning in the future (floor tiles and tops of tiles on wall). Nonetheless, I felt comfortable using the facilities. Our waitress, Christina, provided excellent service, contributing to the overall positive experience. For those seeking a reliable breakfast spot in Punta Gorda, this Waffle House is highly recommended. Even with the $.50 per egg surcharge, the price was very reasonable. I do not mind paying the surcharge. You can tell this restaurant is managed well.“

“We were seated quickly.. our waitress was spread thin and it was seen in no utensils, no refills of coffee, looking for our own sugar for the coffee,the long wait after we received food for the rest of my breakfast.. she was friendly though and that was appreciated. The good was hot and tasted great.. pancake with cheddar bacon omelette, blueberry pancakes and fried eggs, bacon and sausage links . Highly recommend visiting here for a good breakfast.“

“We had not been to an IHOP in a long time, since the one closest to us in Ohio closed. When visiting in Florida we got to have breakfast at the IHOP in Port Charlotte. Rachel, our server, was great — very friendly and took wonderful care of us. The restaurant itself needs a little updating, but the food, and especially the service Rachel provided, made our breakfast most enjoyable.“
