Ever throw away an ENTIRE pizza before? Yeah, me either.... Until tonight. I ordered delivery from Diesel pizza. The green unleaded pizza was the most disgusting pizza I've ever laid my tastebuds on. I am a salad lover and I love spinach but this was unlike any pizza I've had. It was soggy veggies on thin bread with zero seasoning. What a huge waste of money and time. I was thinking it may be like the ricotta pizza from New York New York pizza which is literally LIGHT years ahead to this one. If you're crazy good thing crust pizza, check them out. I'm sorry, I don't understand how any establishment can serve this soggy veggie pizza. I ordered the cheese pizza for my kids, it was decent but nothing I'll be running back for.

The lunch special was a great. Two slices of pizza and a drink for $8 with tax.. Really good flavor and felt the toppings were fresh . I would definitely go back and also the customer service was also great. They were quick and fast.

Normally when I have eaten here, the crust is as delicious as the toppings. Today the crust was difficult to chew and I wound up just eating the toppings off the slices. I think the crust may have had too much flour on the bottom which hardened during baking. Maybe an off day. Will try again.The drink machine needs to be adjusted also. Not enough flavor in drinks. They taste like bland soda water or club soda. Hopefully this feedback is appreciated because many people would not say anything and the business would not know anyone was unsatisfied with their visit.

Yeah, a full pizzeria at a gas station. The pizza is MUCH better than the frozen pie but you wanna eat it right away or it gets too soggy.

I have been craving original NY style like pizza recently but did not want to make a drive to Ybor City where the best pizza in town has been… I read reviews & decided to take a chance on this place. It did NOT disappoint. Upon walking in, the owner & his employee both greeted me & I said exactly what I mentioned above.. the owner even threw in a complimentary dessert just for trying the pizza. This type of hospitality isn’t common anymore so thank you for that!Also, thank you for satisfying my pizza craving! :)

Don't let the location fool ya! This pizza is made from scratch and the owner is passionate about his dome fired pizza. You can see them making fresh pizza to order right there in view. They also have sandwiches on the menu as well. I tried a 1/2 Margherita 1/2 "Unleaded" (Mushroom) made to order pizza. I saw the homemade ingredients come together on the fresh, not frozen dough. Then they cooked the pie in a 750° dome oven for 175 seconds. It doesn't get more fresh than that! The crust was thin yet not flimsy. The fresh ingredients were mouthwatering delicious. This is my go-to pizza in the area!

Best Pizza Anywhere!! Don't bother with the brand-name cookie-cutter pizza shops, get the REAL thing at Diesel Pizza. Reminds me of a true Italian pizza from when I was a kid. Cooked to perfection with the best toppings and sauce!! This is the ONLY place my family gets pizza because each pie seems original and the cookies they offer for dessert are to die for!

We ordered the High Octane pizza with tomato compote, provolone, sausage, onion and parsley. The pizza was hot when we picked it up. The restaurant clean and organized, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered based on the pictures and descriptions online. Yet what we received was sincerely lacking and not matching the advertised photos. I have posted both pics – what they advertise and what we actually received.I have never had a pizza where the toppings were cramped in the very center of the pizza, leaving a 2-3” ring of just sauce and cheese at the outer edge. The sausage was lacking and placed, here and there, in a few crumbles-4 small pieces on each half of the pizza. There was zero parsley and the onions were all piled in the center of the pizza in a small circle. The thick tomato compote you see on the advertised picture was actually two pieces of chunk tomato with thin sauce on our pizza. The sauce and crust were bland and completely lacking in flavor and seasonings. Where is the experience in Italian food advertised on the webpage? Stand behind your advertised pics. The pizza we received was a complete disconnect and a huge disappointment.
Diesel Pizza is absolutely fantastic! The highest quality ingredients and crazy fast and fresh. The dough has the perfect amount of pull and density for a hand tossed crust. The cheese blends are amazing and the other ingredients are perfect compliment to the fun pizzas. I highly recommend the Nitro which is cheese on cheese. So good! We added pepperoni and mushrooms to it. If you’re wanting pizza that is high quality, tasty, and different from the chains, go to Diesel Pizza. Plus, I love supporting local businesses. Enjoy!

Been watching pizza reviews on youtube and agree that nyc pizza is my favorite having eaten some on a trip to nyc a couple of years ago. I read the reviews on yelp and ordered a pizza from Diesel. Order was ready when I got there, very clean, nice folks. The pizza was great and similar to nyc pizza. I have my new favorite pizza place.

Pizza and I got off to a rough start in Tampa… I never found a place with the perfect thickness crust, enough sauce with great flavor, and the perfect amount of cheese. Aiello’s and Giordano’s were my benchmarks. I was craving pizza and stumbled across this new place right by our new house called Diesel, and the pizza looked divine! I ordered online and was shocked to find it inside a gas station- but this is no ordinary gas station! The fresh dough and pizza oven smells hit you when you walk in the door. The owner is making pizzas by hand with Zoe piping the cannolis, ensuring everything is fresh and made to order. And oh boy was my first time at Diesel amazing! I got the High Octane (red sauce, sausage and onion), a house salad and some cannoli. The car smelled divine. I opened my pizza box to find… pepperoni!? A quick call to Diesel fixed the mixup and I was on my way home again in <30m with a High Octane pie. The house salad amazing’s freshly made mustardy balsamic dressing started the meal with a high note. The warm garlic breadsticks were a tasty surprise! But most importantly, the pizza crust was soft and doughy, perfectly cooked, not too thick, with a flavorful red sauce topped with crispy onions and Italian sausage. Perfecto! We will definitely be back for more pizza soon!

I had the best experience overall eating here at Diesel Pizza. From the customer service to the food quality it was all very impressive. Luca makes you feel like your at home, every experience is unique and Is fascinating learning all about how me makes all his food. His staff is very friendly and will go above to deliver the best.
