“Although most of the restaurants in Grandview are fast food where you order at counter and take to a table - which I do not do, there is an outstanding sit down restaurant called ISLA & Co which is outstanding. It has Australian food. We had a quinoa salad that was outstanding and a grilled octopus that was perfectly cooked. Our server, McKenna was witty and friendly and did not miss a detail in being attentive. The manager,, Josh was pleasant and let us order the Octopus from the dinner even though it was not after five. I would highly recommend ISLA and go back again.“

“The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. The room itself was small but comfortable. You have to ask for a coffee machine. I would have liked a kettle to make tea. Or they should offer tea with the Nespresso machine that you need to request. The bathroom was very nice. The main pool was beautiful and so was the beach. They offer a Tesla shuttle service to Worth Avenue if you want to go shopping ort to a restaurant. It was a unique experience.“

“Located at The Ben in downtown West Palm Beach, this restaurant should not be missed. The service was great all around. From the valets, to the doorman, to the hostesses, and our server, everyone was friendly and gracious.

We ordered the Truffle Frites Au Fromage as an appetizer, and were blown away. The fries come with a Gruyère fondue that you can pour over tlhem. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. The nuttiness and sweetness of the cheese will make you reevaluate all of your prior cheese fries decisions. I had the Pastrami Spiced Pork Chop. It had good flavor and was well cooked. But the Red Cabbage Mostarda that it came with melted in my mouth and I couldn’t get enough

For dessert, we ordered the Carrot Cake. It had bits of pineapple and some candied nuts sprinkled on top and was served with some spiced whipped cream. This slice of cake may change your life. In my opinion, it’s one of the top desserts Palm Beach County. It is delightful

I know that this is a long review. But hear me out. We went on a Saturday night in December There’s ice skating across the street, there’s Sandi the Christmas tree within walking distance, and a lot going on downtown right now. More people should’ve been at this restaurant. For a place this good, there should not have been as many empty tables. Was it dead? No. Were there patrons at the bar? Yes. But more people need to come and try Proper Grit. The service is great. The vibes are immaculate. And most importantly, the food is delicious“

Male bartender was good. (Let me apologize for not leaving a tip, it wasn't you, you were deserving.) Had you closed my tab I would've. Other person was cold and not very welcoming or helpful. I played pool and didn't realize I needed cash(dollar bills to pay) she wasn't helpful when I asked. Other service from her was poor. I travel alot and pull into random spots.
I like the local vibe, the location, the people, overall good. Bartender guy, I owe you a tip. I will double up next time.

“4 of us had dinner at Belle and Maxeell’s Saturday night, May 28, 2022. This was our 2nd visit. It won’t be our last. As before, the food was extraordinary. Unfortunately, as so many restaurants, right now, they were severely short handed however, we truly never noticed. The servers took exceptional care of us. Topping off our meal was THE BEST RICOTTA CHEESECAKE we’ve ever eaten. Thank you Belle and Maxwell's for making my Birthday special.“

Amazing hospitality, waitresses are the sweetest and the owner is a five star person as well. He dedicates time to his customers and is heavily involved. “Two couples had dinner last night at Tap 42. We had a reservation and were quickly seated in a booth. Our waitress was young, attentive, easy to talk with, and explained things well. The meals we received were all different, all delicious and arrived at the same time. The waitress and the manager both came by to ask us if we were satisfied. My wife ordered the half rack of ribs, and I ordered the truffle steak and cheese sandwich. We both ordered the loaded mashed potatoes. The portions were large enough that neither of us could finish them, but we look forward to the leftovers! The loaded mashed potatoes were surprisingly good: lots cheese, chunks of thick bacon, and a topping of sour cream. Yum. We went home satisfied without needing dessert. The only criticism was the noise level. This seems to be true of all restaurants these days, but quiet conversation was a challenge. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.“

The choreography of the staff kept the event flowing at a great pace. The food and service was amazing and who can argue with the wonderful views around every corner!
