“The food was fresh and expertly-prepared as my family watched from the lunch counter. The staff was friendly, engaging and efficient. The dive appearance from outside and spartan decor I read about in other reviews did not even matter. The coconut shrimp with key lime sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted. My son had the dolphin (mahi-mahi) fingers and loved them. My husband had the shrimp scampi linguini. We were all well-pleased.“

“This place was amazing! I’m surprised there’s no reviews here yet. The cocktails were unique and absolutely delicious. I had a strawberry matcha tini and it might have been the best drink I’ve had in a long time. And I like trying unique foods, so I tried their lamb burger, the honey goat cheese paired with the sauce was phenomenal and it was cooked perfectly! Would highly recommended this place. 5 stars across the board.“

“We had the most enchanting evening with friends at the Sims House. Starting with Southwestern Eggrolls, Sriracha edamame and prosciutto-wrapped figs, each dish bursting with flavor. The locally caught fish were cooked to perfection as was my steak dish and salad. An impressive wine list and a host of beers... sitting under palm trees with twinkling lights... everything was magical. It's so nice to be able to enjoy our weather dining alfresco. All dishes were done to perfection (wish I had taken photos). We enjoyed desserts of creme brulee and chocolate brownie cheesecake. Should you take the pleasure of the Sims House, you won't be disappointed.“

“I have not been this impressed with a restaurant in quite some time. This place is redefining the gastronomy experience. From the appetizers to the drinks to the main courses to the ambiance and incredible service. Everything within the restaurant is thought out in exquisite detail. The prices are surprisingly affordable for the ingredients and portion sizes. This place is an absolute must! I will be returning!“

I had a business dinner and we enjoyed the burrata, aguachile, scotch eggs and oysters. Our entrees was ribeye and wahoo. Dessert was the panna cotta and chocolate ganache. Perfect spot for waterfront dining.“

“i stumbled upon Mood Restaurant yesterday and went in your lunch and i was so excited to see such a beautiful and mouth watering menu! My Mom and ordered the buffalo cauliflower appetizer with blue cheese dressing and it was “over the top” . and Just amazing.bursting with flavor and wonderful texture! my Mother got the “ I’m not your mamas BLT. sandwich which was made with dried shiitake mushrooms with plenty of herbs and seasoning, and it tasted very similar to bacon and was delicious. i ordered the falafel salad 🥗 which was bursting with so many beautiful vegetables including spiral, beets, shaved carrots, cucumber, lettuce with a tahini dressing! i also had a ginger beer mock-tail which was so tasty! can’t wait to go back to this gem of a place!“

“I came in for the first time ready to spend money and the bartender got our order, then came back and started mumbling (sounded plastered) kept saying a different price 6 then 4 than 9 than 11 then he said 10 so i asked what it was to clarify and he sighed, took my drink and asked the next person their order completely ignoring me holding cash in my hand ready to pay (and tip) never will come back rudest service I've experienced in my life. white guy with. beard was my bartender. he also skipped the person in front of us because they weren't saying their order fast enough while he was trying to buy like 8 drinks. this business is loosing money from this guy. horrible. so we went down the road to mangos where they were respectful and got all our money.“

“Excellent experience!!! We visited this restaurant while on a family vacation and had a wonderful experience. I am gluten free and he cooked it on the same table as the main meal. He cooked it first to avoid cross contamination. The owner cooked for us and he was kind, friendly and a provided us an absolutely delicious meal.
Be sure to make reservations, there are only three hibachi tables. Well worth the wait. Would definitely dine here again.“

“Atmosphere is great, the bar is very lively but there is plenty of space for a quiet meal. bartenders and servers are all very friendly and attentive. Two working fireplaces and a large patio to fit whatever mood strikes you. Awesome spot for a nice dinner or lunch - fresh and terrific food straight off the menu and absolutely fabulous specials for lunch and dinner and awesome desserts. live music 2-3 nights a week. this is such a great local restaurant with an owner and management that are obviously very involved and care a lot about guests AND the staff. 10 out of 10, you've gotta check it out.“

“Ok, so we just had drinks so I can't comment on the food, but the staff was friendly, drinks were good, the view can't be beat and the band (I want to say wonderama?) was amazing. Serious range on the singer, good mix of tunes and again, just a drop dead gorgeous locale. Definitely stop by. Food smelled amazing as well but we had reservations elsewhere.“

“Stayed across the street from here for a week and ended up coming here for dinner twice. The food was truly delicious, I'm talking burger so messy I struggled to eat it but in the best way.
The second time we came back we were greeted at the door by Ashley and she was our server as well and I have to say she was unforgettable. I love an attentive server who knows when and what you need when you need it most. She has the most warm and inviting spirit. She really made our dinner that much more enjoyable by being such a delight and on top of the little details, that to me can make or break a dining out experience.
They had live music both nights and I loved all the dollar bills on the walls. You have to see it for yourself to appreciate it. Best vibes!!! I will be back again!!!“

“little family run restaurant bustling with hungry families. this restaurant has great food with a great price. the beef patties were so flavorful and the flaky. the ox tail was excellent and loaded with flavor and bone marrow. the tuesday lunch special, curry chicken, was lip smacking good filled with lots of chicken. overall a great place for lunch. highly recommend!!“

“Our food was delicious! We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we were allowed to bring our own cake and usually they charge a cake cutting fee but the manager was nice enough to waive that for us. I requested outdoor seating overlooking the water and sort of near the live music but we were sat in the middle of an area where there was constant foot traffic by waiters and guests and they were bumping into my chair a lot which was annoying. We didn’t have a view of the water because there was a large screen with a projector showing scenes of Italy. Not to mention there was no live music which was disappointing because the website said Fridays and Saturdays. The service was very slow. There was no kids menu and the toddlers we had with us wanted a small portion but when we ordered a small pizza for our son they brought him a medium and charged us $18! He’s 3 years old! When it was time for cake I thought the staff would bring it out with the candles lit and sing but the waiter put the cake down in front of my husband and then was trying to light the candles and started using one candle to light another instead of using the lighter and it took a minute and then there weren’t staff members there singing at all just our family. It was awkward. They took the cake out back to cut it which took probably 15 minutes and I didn’t get the cake topper or candles back. We had to ask for the check and boxes as the server wasn’t very attentive the whole time. There weren’t staff members different waitstaff who came to the table to assist. Overall it wasn’t the experience I had hoped for unfortunately.“
