Peaceful Atmosphere. Felt the Love when I walked in. Enjoyed my collard greens, okra, corn and tomatoes macaroni and cheese, grouper and fried conch fritters. The smothered turkey wings was also Delicious. And my husband enjoyed his food also. Would recommend this place to all my friend and family. Food made with Love. Only thing I wish, Cooking From The Heart was open during the week.
So I came across Cooking From The Heart because of Sweetz by Niyaah (a bakery that participated in Dessert Wars with yummy treats). Cooking From The Heart is exactly what it says. Delicious and fresh comfort food. I ordered a fried shrimp plate which came with cornbread and a choice of 3 sides. The Mac and cheese, collard greens, and potato salad were my choices. I've been a loyal customer since the 80s & this food is the best!!! Home cooked meals are not easy to come by these days & I enjoyed EVERY BITE!! The chef is blessed & it shows in the Heavenly atmosphere & the service is angelic!?????????? COOKING FROM THE HEART GETS ALL MY STARS!!
