“Date night with the hubs. We wanted to try something new and this place did not disappoint. We tried several dishes and everything was delicious! He had soup, the steak, and fried rice. I tried the seaweed salad and a few sushi rolls. There are a few other items I can’t wait to try. Will definitely be back!“
“I have never been to Pisces so I want to give them a try. We made reservations and we were seated immediately to our table! I give them a five star as most places make us wait. The hostesses were nice. The menu was actually perfect as they had the right amount of selection. Not to much and not to little. The sushi selection has a variety of different types of rolls. They had some unique dishes along with unique names. I give them 5 star for a well thought out menu. The server wasn’t bad as he was quick to response but he did forget a couple of things. Now onto the value for the price of the food. I know that the location is in Dunedin and therefore everything is very expensive in this little town. And like all sushi places, they charge very high prices. However this place is about 20% higher but I know you are paying higher prices to have the ambience of being downtown Dunedin. We ordered the Caesar salad which is $10 for a very small plate of salad with just dressing. This was very disappointing! We ordered three rolls and the average prices for their rolls is between $16 to $24. We ordered the firecracker roll, alcohol boho, and Mexican roll. When the sushi came out, I was kind of disappointed as they were pretty small rolls compared to some high end sushi places I have gone to when compared to the price. The rice was still moist and soft but they lack favor. All the rolls tasted the same.Overall, I did enjoy sitting on their patio and enjoying a relaxing dinner while people watching as they all walk by. I would come back for the ambience but expect average Japanese food and paying a little more.“
“MR LC Asian Bistro for the win! Shishito peppers, spicy seafood soup, seaweed salad, some funky, roll with tempura, shrimp, crab, Connie, temporary crunchies, and a couple other random rolls. Everything was fresh and incredibly flavorful. High recommended if you’re in the Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin area of Florida. Also, the atmosphere is bright and clean and the service is friendly. I would definitely return.“
“I should of stuck to what I normally get which is steak pho but I tried something new and got the seafood with a side of spicy sauce. The sauce and broth of the pho where good but the tempura was super soggy by the time it got to me, so I’ll probably ask for it on the side next time. The sauce was spicy enough and not over bearing. Overall cleanest and nicest place in this plaza!! Definitely will come back and try something else some time soon.Vegetarian options: You have to check the ingredients and see on each item.Parking: It’s near a community so sometimes it’s packed and hard to find parking.Kid-friendliness: It’s nice and spacious, has inside and outside dining so nice place to bring kids. Literally looks like an uncool reef coloring book inside.“
“Beautiful interior. Great variety of appetizers and main dishes. The option of Thai or Chinese is so interesting! Service was great; our waiter was quick, punctual, and a great conversationalist. Prices were very reasonable considering the size and quality. 10/10 would recommend!!!“
“We were not expecting the quality this place delivers. Went with my family who are mild sushi fans, they were happy with the place but i was very positively surprised by both quality of rolls and service level.I’d love to go back for a more thorough experience. Definitely recommend for sushi/japanese option.“
“This place was amazing! The staff was clean, fast and friendly. Jordan was a great host very accommodating. This is my first time within the building. Answered all my questions before I began ordering. definitely coming back! highly recommend!“
“I love this little place! It gets packed so plan accordingly. It's a small place but worth the wait. Eat here all the time! Sushi is fantastic and super fresh, Ken flys it in daily. Service is good! Favorites are the pirate roll and their iced green tea! Their other cooked items, pad Thai, rice, noodles are also delicious“
“This was my first time at PF Changs. Lisa was my waitress and made it a whole dining experience. From the start she took time to explain the menu, made amazing recommendations. She went above and beyond. I will most definitely come back and ask for her to be my server. Lisa, you’re the bomb girl!“
“What an awesome place to have a family dinner. We decided to celebrate my birthday here. The food was very fresh and great tasting. Services was fast and on point. It was a big group but nobody had anything but great things to say about the place.“
“The food was excellent, we had the sirloin and the chicken, sooo good. Service was good, we had a young man serving that did a great job. Very personable. Really the only down side was the cold wind coming through the windows, this restaurant is roof top and open air. I'm sure on warmer days it is amazing. Beautiful views of the bay.“
“First impression was great. The place is very cozy and the ambience was relaxing and inviting. The food tasted fresh and came out quick. Plenty of options of great drinks and she was very kind and patient with us. Starting with a plum wine, watermelon and also green apple Saki. The crab ragoon had so much crab. And the curry krab ragoon was amazing. The smokiness without the heat. The Aki roll was my favorite. If you are in the area this is a must visit Sushi ? restaurant.“
“I sat at the bar where Ashlee greeted me promptly and made me a spicy bloody Mary. She informed me was happy hour, and several drinks were $5 and under including my Bloody Mary! They also had a happy hour sushi on the weekends $5 rolls. This was definitely a bargain.I started my meal ordering the Arizona roll and the Florida roll. They were both fantastic. I preferred the Arizona over the Florida midway through my meal. I also ordered the Eel and spicy tuna. If I had to pick the eel is definitely my favorite.I have never found this much sushi ? for only $20 bucks! You need to come check this place out.“
“Moved in around the corner. Finally took a drunk walk over here. They have late hours, an the late night menu is ??? that an they have big Asahi! (Asahi>Karin>Sapporo)I'm migraine prone an often have to eat late. That with the low perfect lighting of this place I'll be back often.“
“We recently had the distinct pleasure to eat some phenomenal Japanese-style food at Shiso Crispy food truck in Dunedin. The food was authentic and so pleasing to the palate. AND a special shout out to JULIA, she was the consummate professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very kind. Highly recommend a stop here in Dunedin—you’ll love it!!“
“Atmosphere was excellent, selection of beer, wine and spirits was great as well. Our server and our chef were outstanding. Attentive, entertaining and accommodating. Bit pricey, but you get a ton of food- they don't skimp on the portion sizes. Parents had a great time. Recommend if you have a group!“
“Located in the lobby of the Wyndham Grand Hotel this bar is definitely the gathering place for hotel guest whether they are here for a convention or just a relaxing vacation. I spent several days here attending meetings with business associates and it turned out to be a great spot to grab a nice cup of coffee in the morning and a cold beer or cocktail in the evening. I don't know their exact hours of operation but they were open by 6:00 AM each morning and closed around midnight during my stay here, they offered light breakfast fare and light snacks and small plates during the day. The staff operating this bar / cafe were super friendly during my visits and they always had plenty of help on hand to handle the large groups of people passing through between conference meetings. There are plenty of options in the area surrounding the hotel but this little bar is the most convenient if you prefer to stay on site. As you'd expect the prices here are quite expensive, including tax a can of pop will cost you $5.10 and if you planning an afternoon at the bar be prepared to spend a considerable amount more than you'd spend at bars offsite, a double Glenfiddich 15 Year Reserve will cost you about $42.00 before taxes and an additional 19% service fee but the pours are good...“
“They were out of Chicken Pho but I was pleasantly surprised with the Beef Pho flavor! The service was perfect & Crab Rangoon was best I have had in the area, I liked how it was light & airy. I also had the Shrimp Summer Spring rolls which tasted fresh. I’ll be back soon to hopefully try other items.“
“I order here off Doordash ALL the time! They offer so many deals on doordash, like happy hour, 15% off or a free item with a certain purchase amount. So I feel like they're super fairly priced. PLUSSSSS they are SOOOOOO good. Especially their Pad Thai, I normally get their sushi, but today I ordered their Pad Thai & it was phenomenal. I'll definitely have to come check them out in person soon! ❤️?“
“My husband and I went here for dinner once and we were really happy overall with our experience. The food was excellent, both presentation and taste wise. We ordered the Crab Rangoons for an appetizer and they were amazing, some of the best Crab Rangoon's I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the Volcano Sushi Roll for his entree and he loved it, I tried it as well and thought it was very tasty. I ordered the Bone-In Chicken and it was also quite good, however I was not a huge fan of the sauce on the chicken. My husband really enjoyed the chicken too, it definitely had a lot of flavor and was cooked to perfection. Very juicy, not remotely dry which is what you should get at an expensive restaurant such as this one. We ordered the Pandan Brûlée for dessert and it was very yummy, not the best crème brûlée I've ever had but good. The service here was wonderful. Our server was super helpful, kind, and most of all, he was very attentive to our every need. I love the ambiance in this restaurant, it is extremely relaxed and it feels very much like fine-dining. It was very fancy overall and a great dining experience, 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!“
“Sunday after church, family (6) voted for Chinese. Daughter had been told their Gen Cho Chicken was the best around. But it is just a carry out place, so we called in an order for Moo Goo Gai Pan, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Bourbon Chicken and three (3) General Cho Chicken. Plus an order of Dim Sum.Most of the family went to our house to set the table and drinks. My eldest daughter and I picked up the orders. Now most places our party of 6 would be well over $100, but this was only $66, given that we all wanted items from the $8.88 lunch combos with rice and egg rolls. Plus the fact that we all made two meals from it.Order was ready in 10 minutes after arrival. We hurried home and dug in - after giving thanks. Dim Sum was great. Shrimp Lobster was great. Bourbon Chicken was great. Gen Tso Chicken was superb. Just as we were told, spiced just right and not heavy with a lot of batter. Everyone loved it.A bit disappointed at the Moo Goo, my dish. It was very good but missing some veggies my usual place has. Not bad but not great.Overall a great place with some really good food and quick service, especially if like Gen Tso Chicken!“
“From the moment we walked in, Blue Sake promised a culinary adventure, and it delivered just that! We kicked off our lunch with a duo of appetizers that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The chicken satay was a revelation, marinated in a vibrant yellow curry that was both flavorful and moist, creating a perfect harmony with the unique red onion sweet water.Next, the fresh rolls wrapped in delicate rice paper were not only a visual treat but also incredibly filling. They were the perfect prelude to the main event. The cold, flavored sake selection was a journey of its own – the plum was a sweet whisper of fruitiness, while the coconut with lemongrass was a bold statement of tropical zest, both equally tasty. The green curry for lunch was a masterful blend of heat and sweet, striking a delightful balance with its medium spice level and the subtle sweetness of basil. As for my main course, the grilled chicken with lemongrass was a standout, perfectly portioned and accompanied by a medley of steamed veggies and a comforting side of rice.Overall, our first experience was nothing short of wonderful. It's a place where flavors are celebrated, and satisfaction is guaranteed. We left with our taste buds dancing and a promise to ourselves – we will be back!“
“I do not live around here but was in Dunedin for some fishing on honeymoon island. On the way home I was hungry and stopped here. The food was excellent, the eggroll was exceptional and my entrée was delicious. I’m making a mental note of the name and location so that when I’m heading home from another fishing trip like this will be sure to get some takeout for my wife and myself.“
“We went on Valentine's Day for the first time, VERY busy, and the food and service were on point in spite of the chef and server being a little overwhelmed. Very satisfying meal, and very reasonable prices. We look forward to going again on a quieter night and getting to know this sweet little neighborhood sushi bistro better.“
