What a fantastic find for basic drink and beer! The prices were excellent and the vibe was a perfect low key setting right on the beach. The staff were fantastic and I enjoyed meeting others who were just hanging out. My kind of place. I will return.

This is a very hole in the wall type spot. Its the place with a tiki roof. Very nice staff and cheapest drinks youll find on the beach. Speaking of the beach there is great beach access from this location.

Note: no on-site parking, but there’s a public lot a half block north and an easy walk along the beach to get there.

5 Stars! A Hidden Gem with Great Vibes (and a Squirrel Celebrity!) Despite a cloudy day at St. Pete Beach, our spirits were instantly lifted when we stumbled upon Chris' Beachside Bar, just a short walk from the beach access. This place is a real find! The drink prices were fantastic – you can't beat $6 for a Corona Light, but their other specials were even better: $3 beers, $4 Bloody Marys, and plenty of $5 and $6 beer options. Seriously budget-friendly for a beachside spot. But the real highlight of Chris' Beachside Bar is their adorable resident squirrel, Peanut! This little guy is a total character. He comes right down to the bartender for interactions, and the best part? Peanut has his very own miniature picnic table with a red umbrella – it was the cutest thing we've ever seen! It really added to the unique and fun atmosphere of the bar. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with incredible drink prices and a memorable, quirky touch (Peanut!), Chris' Beachside Bar is a must-visit near St. Pete Beach access. We'll definitely be back!
