We like local places and also what we call dive bars. Loved this place. The service was great and my peel and eat shrimp was some of the best I've ever had. It was a Sunday night and there was live music. Just a great atmosphere. Not your typical tourist place. We felt like we belonged.
Came here just for a couple of beers. Rough and ready, cheap and cheerful (and just a little bit grubby). If you understand these phrases, you'll get this place perfectly! They had a band playing that evening, which added to the atmosphere. Sat in the corner out of the way, strumming along with the tunes and I'd do it again tomorrow if I was walking by this place.

This place was great. Food was good. Service was great. However while we were there our car was towed. There was no sign at parking spaces not to park. There were signs posted in other areas that we avoided. Once we we spoke with a waitress and was aware of the scam.We called towing scammers once we realized what had happened.
